Give her a chance Don't just take a glance She could be the woman you have been searching for Open the door Never ignore Watch her eyes as they dance around Whatever you do don't let her fall to the ground. Give him a chance. Take a good loo

Something inspirational again! Provided you are not too tired here is another translation from our Tbilisi poet Tamila Aydinova writing her verse in Russian. This is her third poem posted by me here. Autumn is my favorite so don’t be surprised if I keep returning to this subject. I do appreciate your time and thank you for devoting it to reading my translations! Best wishes to you all!

I have been spending quite a bit of time with my 9 year old nephew {Dylan} this summer. He is autistic. Simply put, autism is a complex neurodevelopment disorder, characterized by social impairments & severe communication difficulties. Dylan is literally "locked in"...but this precious boy is "loaded" with spirit and I can't begin to tell you what a privilege it is to spend time with him.
Not my best poem ...
Observations
If my poem needs to be explained, then I am not a very good poet. It is what it says. Enuf said. If you are not satisfied, just tell me so, and I will stop posting.I don't understand all the bit about color, borders etc. I am what I am. Primordial forces stamped indelibly upon the collective soul What can be called mind was never left for reason to decide We are not our own Behold! Within these mortal veins a strangers blood gives life to a mere vapor in the wind My
This poem goes out to all of the women who do not know their worth. You may not have been born into a context where you were given the choice to be strong and to fend for yourself; but as a united body of women, we can make a difference. We can choose, today, to be strong and to see the value in ourselves, our sisters and our daughters. Let's lift up the Sandy's in our lives!
Just wanted to acknowledge the negative vibration that is affecting people at this period of time in life...and not to give up...
For a long time, I blamed myself...and wouldn't say the word because if I did, I beat myself down emotionally... time heals wounds, and time healed mine. I'm finally admitting I am not to blame for being a rape victim, but am to be respected, and treated with kindness. I'm Ready to move on, and "survive" And yes, I'm aware this is a touchy subject, but one I'm not afraid of anymore. Just a little jumpy sometimes.
One day every one of us will be judged by the Father for what we have done!
I thought I would introduce you to modern Georgian poets. I hope you will enjoy the poem, which went untitled by the author, but I called Despair.
No river can to its source return And all must reach the sea Through its many twist and turns It meanders purposely Along the way mountain streams Begin and join the throng Spreading out throughout the land The river growing strong And fi

So transient is the star of day - it brightens only for the show, So solemn is the world - it darkens more and more, What’s our life – it’ll come and fly away like bird, On our hearth and home the grass will some day grow. He walked a shorter roa

I'm not sure, but I've been told that there is a city of lights pressed between the folds of eternity where paths cross in angelic bliss Perhaps I've dared to think of such things as I walk through this world so dimly lit A glimspe of a worl

I look inside me, Trying to see, A vision of the man I wanted to be, With wisdom in his eyes, You could tell he was wise, When he was talking there was never a lie, And though he wasn't perfect you could tell the man tried, The twists and t

This is a translation of Sergei Yesenin’s poem “A Poet” dedicated to his close friend Grisha.
If only for a little while, it's a very cool place to be.
