With just a little added country boy twang…….....
We all have bad days, sometimes a little TLC can help
Update 4/2020: I wrote this a year ago February not knowing what was going to happen in the world in the last few months. Eerily it makes one feel right now with COVID-19 "Is the World Still Out There?" being so isolated. Feb. 2019: Sometimes I get daydreaming a beautiful dream and block out the world. Finally when I return to reality - it will be so quiet that I have to look outside to see if the world is still there.
Sunshine on a path that leads to happiness Sunshine upon the meadow where I can lay down to rest Gentle breeze be a comfort to me Set my mind at ease from all of life's stress Tall trees remind me how small I really am Blue sky hang over me li

Connection, life within clouds. I couldn't write directly to her but I had to write. I felt that love had flown but was so buoyed by the love I'd known. 8 weeks to uncover too much too soon, online & telephone realities & runes. Mellifluous her voice like a gentle sea breeze," it's only me "she would say, setting my spirit free.

The experience was like Standing by a towering waterfall Casting a mist that played with light A harpist's fingers making prisms And I felt the mist settle On my brow Weeping willows swept softly While I gazed at the calm

Call me pedantic, but sometimes there can be no compromise.
True story yesterday. That bad Winter Storm Harper (I think that was the name) we just got - went out to clean off my porch (roof over) and shovel and found this female finch laying behind my garbage can cuddled right next to the side of the house. I felt so bad - if I had known she was in trouble, I would have tried to help her. It reminded me of the hymn "His Eye is on the Sparrow".
A follow-up on the recipe challenge.
