The Freedom of my heart

Spiritual love from God has shown me a sign.
I can breathe.
My heart is home.
My eyes are bright.
The storm has passed.
Internal conflict is resolved.
If i could thank anyone it would be love.
i smile.
i laugh.
i cry.
i believe.
i have faith.
my guardian angel hath spoken.
the freedom of my heart has been awoken.
i am
ME!!!

We Will Be Left Alone

We are left alone as babies in the cradle,
We are left alone as riders on the saddle,
We are left alone as debtors to the dismay,
We are left alone as candidates to convey.

The parents leave us alone when we are young,
Then we leave them alone when they are old,
When sorrow keeps us alone, it is too sad,
When the lifeless form is left alone, it is not bad.

* * *

The curse of our age is haste,
And man, who’s mopping sweat from face,
Rushes as pawn about his ways
Brought by time pressure to the bay.

In haste they drink, in haste they love,
And soul is going down.
In haste they beat, in haste destruct
And then repent in hurry.

But you for only once in world,
When it’s asleep or boils and fumes,
Stop for a while as horse in foam
That scented precipice at hooves.

Stop on a halfway, do not go,
Trust in the heaven as in judge,
Think hard – if not about the Lord –
Think of yourself at least, your life.

Under the rustle of decrepit leaves,
Under steam engine’s raucous scream,
He’s sorry sight who runs off feet,
Who stopped to run – he’s great, he’s big.

Sweeping small worries off your life
Start thinking of eternity at last.
And hesitation holy, please do mind,
Will pour in legs like lead to stop your run.

Great power hesitation has,
When stepping on a faulty way
Towards faulty stars that loom ahead
You’re undecided, hesitate to wade.

Treading on someone’s faces as on leaves,
Halt for a while! You are as blind as Viy.
The very chance to stop and think
Don’t ever kill with all your rushing zeal.

When trampling busy toward the goal
On bodies as if they were stones,
Stop you, who has neglected God, –
Mind, it’s yourself you’re walking on!

When you are pushed by spite and all
Towards disregard of soul and heart,
Towards infamy of shot and word,
Don’t be in hurry, don’t comply.

Stop, do not move, you walking blindfold,
The populace of Mother Earth!
Stand still, you bullet, flying from Colt,
The bomb in air, do not move, just stop!

Oh man, oh you, whose name is holy,
Lifting up eyes with prayer filled,
Betwixt the breakup and the lechery
Just stop and do not move, stand still!

A Message Of Hope

A Message Of Hope

When tough hard days become hard to bear

When problem after problem seem everywhere

When you just can't find anyone up to the call

You're all alone and being crushed against the wall

Life's journey has some bad turns it will send

But theres a higher power on which we can depend

All seeing and mighty, so loving and always kind

`Where theres always comfort for us to find

An eternal power for all so we may confide

There forever and always walking by our side

Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

BEAUTY

True beauty
what is it really
As we often heard
It’s in the eye
of the beholder

Beauty can be found
In almost anything
In a song or rhyme
The sounds of the wind
a moment of remembrance
in page through time’s journal

a majestic tree
in the Amazon jungle
to the brown dunes
of the Sahara dessert
maybe the pure white sands
of Melkbos strand
or the plush green foothills
of the Drakensberg

but none
can compare
to the Splendid One
Who is and was
and is to come
Most High God
Creator of All
Heaven and earth
Every bird in the sky
All of creation
A mere reflection
of His Ultimate Perfection

"UNTITLED"

Times of great change are upon us now,
to the unworthy we will no longer bow.

To the weak who will perish,I shed a tear,
and indeed a rebirth is drawing near.

For those of us who banish the fear,
for those of us who understand.

That we adapt to survive,
that love and hope will keep us alive.

Remember the future and what it can bring for peace of mind,
somewhere amidst the darkness ahead you and me we will find,
and combine our strenth to live on and fight.

YOU'RE MY EVENING STAR! (LYRICS)

You are my evening star
I often think and wonder where you are
You live so very far
Please tell me I'm your only shooting star

Well it's all just a dream
But I still do believe it
I inhale the air but hurts just to breathe it
Countless hours I wait to perceive it
It's heavens show and I still can't believe it
(CHORUS)
Your gentle light touches everything
To me you're awe-inspiring
Your gentle light just shines on and on
On and on and...
Your gentle ways of touching me
Is why you're mine til eternity
Your gentle light reflects who you are

Can I play you some soft guitar
And listen to my repertoire
Don't leave me and go too far
For it's you I want my brilliant superstar!

Well you came rushing in like a whirlwind from heaven
The time stopped dead at quarter past eleven
I knew right then you were sent from the heavens
This is not a dream and my star is god-given!
(CHORUS)
Your gentle light touches everything
To me you're awe-inspiring
Your gentle light just shines on and on
On and on and...
Your gentle ways of touching me
Is why you're mine til eternity
Your gentle light reflects who you are

Making a difference

Making a difference
Yes that's what I seek
Putting aside my troubles
No time to weep
Thinking of others and what they may need
Listening to myself
As I take heed
Telling myself that there are others who may need my help
Putting them first
Before myself
