Maybe down some country lane
or a busy city street.

I'm not looking for a servant.
I can take care of myself.
I'm not looking for a Barbie doll;
to place upon a shelf.

I don't need someone to lead me
or to follow far behind.
I need someone to walk beside me
and help me toe the line.

God says a mate is a blessing.
That it's better to marry than burn.
I know I'll find you someday.
Then my heart will cease to yearn.

a true goddess came and killed all of my despair
i was infinitely alpha, insignificatly small
of silent noise and sightless light
i took notice of none and all

when she came up to talk to me a god she did create
for everything was in my power, all living did i command
pure euphoria filled my core, there was none i could hate
but when she asked for the time i rememberd my broken watchs hand

despair filled me as she turned away, my feelings full of bane
i would never love like this again
my hearts tatters waved in the wind
but then i saw her freind

I'm doing fine
Maybe I'll find love in time
Doing alright
Driving away on a satyrday night
Tunes cranked up high
Gotta pass the time on bye

You pick up your feet
A railroad crossing over the street
Your chin up high
How does it feel just to be alive
Lookin good
Do I care if I really should

Driving away
She throws a smile that points my way
Feeling alright
Driving alone on a saturday night
You step on the gas
Just to watch the world go fast

These crazy dreams
Its really not as bad as it seems
This can't be beat
When your in control at the drivers seat
Shift through the gears
My thoughts wander in search of fear

You hold yourself
Another soul put on a shelf
Is it fear
My heart is racing I feel so scared
I'll drive all night
To race away from the morning light

The tunes are loud
Like thunder trembling from a cloud
Lift up your feet
Gotta adjust the drivers seat
I pick up the pace
The rearview mirror reveals a pretty face

I coast on down
I turn the knob that controls the sound
Been driving all night?
She says I'm your shadow tonight
Just follow me
And let what will be,will be

I'm doin fine
Knowing now that she will be mine
She stares me down
She smiles and wants the seat way down
This is fast!
My foots not even on the gas

I adjust the seat
A wild ride on the drivers seat
I lost my rhyme
When I awoke it was morning time
No more clothes
She took them with her I guess I suppose.

Here's to you
Here's to me
May your life be filled with serenity
With not all will you both agree
but have the strength to make the other see
Hope you handle life's problems with dexterity
while you both flourish in prosperity
May you add to each other's ability
to touch other's lives with humanity
With children I wish you fertility
and bestow upon them your sincerity
while always keeping your integrity
With this I'm sure you'll live happliy
I'm glad to witness this unity
May your lifetime vows last for eternity

muster your efforts and clear your head
focus on the task with growing dread
reherse the lines over and over in your mind
write out the words on a paper thats lined
crumple it up and throw it over your shoulder
frustrated that the sentiments wont come out bolder
trying not to be straight forward but not too coy
looking to inspire great emotions of joy
so snap your lead pencil in two, and burn the paper away
dont look to embelish your words, just mean what you say
look them in the eye and speak to them of,
your failing attempt to write a poem of love

Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and my soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when your eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I have poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start.

The sound of your voice,
Is like music to my ears,
Every thing you say,
Come out crystal clear,
Your words are like,
The melody of a song,
With a certain inspiration,
That is never wrong,
So beautifully compose,
With such an even flow,
And if you listen,
You know how it goes,
Its rhythm is soothing,
And every note is unique,
With every words,
I can feel my heart beat,
Every word you say,
Is perfectly rhyme,
The melody of your words,
Are one of a kind. . . .

Your words are too kind
Thought of you are in my mind

Thinking of you makes my day
Your words are always too short
And leave me out of sort

People like you are too few

The kind of person you are
Is better than those I know by far

And on and on it goes , another time , a full life can be had by all who belive in a future , a good future where every one has a happy ever after ....its easy to see , and dont let other people's failure stop you from making waves or going out on a limb to test your faith in yourself ...hey if you throw a stone into a pond of water there will be a splash and ripples , just like in our lives , we dont have to stay the same , we can change if we want to ....
