Wish I had a parrot
I would call him after me
Sit him on the pearch
And let him talk to me
Who's a pretty boy he would learn
Maybe a few more words to cheer me up
When am feeling down
Would not like him chat to the ladies
He might be a flirt
He might try to chat to them
Say your a sexy bird, show your sexy curves
He tell them all about me
no I will have no secrets left
For that dam parrot
Has put the ladies of me
But hay at least he's company
And my bird

Dog goes woof
Cat goes meow
Bird goes tweet
And the mouse goes squeak
Cow goes moo
Frog goes croak
And the elephant goes toot
Ducks say quack
and fish go blub
and the seal goes ow ow ow
But there's one sound
That no one knows
What does the fox say?
Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding
What does the fox say?
Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!
What does the fox say?
Hatee-hatee-hatee-ho!
Big blue eyes
Pointy nose
Chasing mice and digging holes
Ting paws up the hill
Suddenly you're standing still
Your fur is red
So beautiful
Like an angel in disguise
But if you meet a friendly horse
Will you communicate by morse?
How will you speak to that horse?
What does the fox say?
Chacha-chacha-chacha-tow!
What does the fox say?
Fraka-kaka-kaka-kaka-kow!
The secret of the fox
Ancient mystery
Somewhere deep in the woods
I know you're hiding
What is your sound
Will we ever know?
Will always be a mystery
What do you say?
You're my guardian angel
Hiding in the woods
What is your sound?
Will we ever know?
I want to know

To see in the dark
To wander about
Unaided
Unable to see
To feel ones foot steps
Where
Objects lay
To find your way
Unaided to walk with ease to
Walk
Earing noise to help guide your way
Object you canot avoid there in the way
To walk without being injured
Maybe your guide dog
Maybe she/he will guide you
To move in the dark
On streets he/she will guide
To keep you safe from traffic on the street
Spare a thought good people help to buy aguide dog
And to keep him/her safe

There once was a toy mouse who would spin around the house. The cats would gaze in confused haze, dogs barking louder then a lark. Wheels turning, pink mouse crooning, a swoosh and a flash the dog in quick motion, the mouse could no longer play.

I recall when I lived on solid ground
but today my footing cannot be found
my wife Lyn has been busy these days…
adapting my home to suit her ways
it is gone, my lawn of green open space
she felt a desperate need to replace…
my soft blades of grass with boards of oak
constructed of walls and roof to cloak
all number of creatures fenced to roam
in what was once the yard of my home
what manner of tapping and drilling I hear
I’ve even been driven to set down my beer
to arise and peek out to see what she’s done
looks like work to me, but for her it is fun
another building is going up fast
how much longer is this going to last?.
with constant absorbtion of wide spaces so pretty
she’s left only the room as if set in a city
for our ilk of animals, there’s plenty of leeway
but when I venture through, its like crossing a freeway
‘cause of chickens, five ducks, four dogs, and three goats
our backyard resembles a series of moats
where before I roamed wild, barefoot and carefree
now my feet must be clad, and placed carefully
for there’s some kinda stuff out there nobody knows…
that I prefer not to squish up between my toes
yet with all of Lyn’s changes (whenever she’s done)
we have a better life now, and oh boy, what fun!

Poor Marmalade was so unhappy
since her family moved house
she lay in her bed looking all floppy
with no interest in chasing a mouse.
She missed all the cats from town
since moving to the country
all she could do was sulk and frown
the life had gone out of her she felt so empty.
Then one day a new kitten did arrive
a kitten called blue
Marmalade began to feel alive
all at once she knew what to do.
She'd show Blue how to catch mice
how to steal food when no one was looking
how to groom her coat making it look nice
on cold winters nights they'd lay snuggling.
Marmalade settled down her head resting on a shoe
stretching out and yawning
with her little paw around Blue
she fell into a contented sleep till morning.

online today!
I find it strange coming home and
not seeing you here this evening
Even now, with my mind's ear
I still hear the patter of your tiny feet
as you ran into our room
when I opened the door
It is a sound that will always
remain with me
I recall the time I spoke sternly to you
about something you did
that I thought was wrong
and how you went directly
to your favourite spot
and curled up there
You glanced up at me in apology
with those sad eyes full of emotion
which moved me so strangely
that I wondered if it was a child
sitting there looking up at me
I shall always remember how
you sat on your little haunches
somewhat lopsided with
your head half-cocked to one side
one ear up and one ear down
staring at me
as I tried to read your thoughts
or was it you that sat that way
to read my thoughts
I can still hear your pitiful moan
the first day I put you in the kennel
Forgive me for not realizing
that a spirit like yours
was not meant to be caged
After you were set free
how different and alive you looked
jumping around in the yard
with those precise energetic little leaps
So goodbye my little Gypsy
I shall never see you again
but you will always dwell
in that secret spot in my heart
Thank you for the few days
you spent with me
and for the beauty
you brought into my life
I shall always be grateful for it
My dearest little Gypsy

About this poem:
Gypsy was washed down in a canal. I adopted her. I only had her for a few days. I left her in the care of a neighbour for a weekend. When I returned, I was told that she was pushed off the steps by the neighbour's larger dogs and she fell and died. They said they disposed of her body so I never saw her again.

Witch way well he go well lead us astray or will he brings us home, he has a problem with hand in task, but will find the answer to the questions that lie in your mind ,he is the one that you can never find his needs to reach the sky and break free for all humanity and all obstacles that every one try's to get around ,he is the one that well break those chains that holds you down, he is the one that walks through shadows to open light ,he is the one to keep your secrets safe with his teeth his nails and skin and bones, if only for one night so you may live he is the one......

A childlike scream, so wild so real
So human, fills the air
The shattered dream of a life once free
Ends in tragedy
The green green grass
Is green no more
Dyed red,
Died in Agony.
Is this what they come to see
Time and time again
Another sacrifice, another wasted life
Spilled upon the ground
Who are the animals anyway
Which ones are the animals here today
Yeah....
Its just a way of life, for the civilized
Pillars of the community
Those bigots of a bygone age
reflect a sick society
Supported by the church and state
In legalised brutality
Is this what they come to see
Time and time again
Another sacrifice, another wasted life
Spilled upon the ground
Who are the animals anyway
Which ones are the animals here today
Yeah....
Life is cheap in the game of death
Life is cheap,...
In the game of death....
LIFE IS CHEAP IN THE GAME OF DEATH.
