made a beautiful silky bow collar, for his little skinny neck
so me and you can go for a walk,
sneeked out the gate walking around to the front
all the kids were amazed, dancing skipping for joy,
they all wanted a pet duck, thinking to myself make a fortune selling ducks
i never laughed so much,in fact my sides were splitting,
the kids actually thought he was funny
wabbling along with his color bow,he was a comical site quacking
they loved him, shouting can we get a pet duck,my plan is working,
squeuling with joy and glee
then the woman i was with at the time
cried and moaned, created a whole scene,
gave out to me,saying all the neighbours are chatting
yeah chatting about you,ha ha i laughed driving her totally insane,
saying i was mad in the head,i dont really care what the say,
buying a kid a duck for his birthday'poor little duck shes disowning you,
so you dont want the duck,i said to her
it was all your idea in the first place sure the young fellow cried for the duck,i might of know i would get blamed,i knew someone giving away a duck
i happened to mentions a duck, you oked it
you and the kids, past tense the scorpion who struck bitten on the back
who gave me bad blood
ill give them something to talk about
the only reason they had dogs and cat, they bite
i have a duck so what,my pet duck, are they afraid of the duck
i gave him to my father, she panicked afraid of gossip ha ha
i was the first in the area to have a pet duck haha
more than could be said for some
sure they copy everyone else,im different,i dont care
all kids loved him,a pity about her
my father still has him years later
hes getting old and grey
dad looks after him like royalty
he follows around after him like a dog
this is the story of my pet
now my dad and the duck
hes the happiest duck alive

Sweetest woman
an end to sorrow,
my darkest beauty,
such dazzling light
from distant stars
light years away...
A passing comet
to distant lands,
sorceress of dreams,
a haunting music
from her soul...
A midnight sun
erasing a past,
verses of rubies and diamonds
honey sweet
a mystical journey...
Under falling sky
we are lovers,
poet dreamers are we,
in light of new love
we adore us...
Love poem for my muse,
garden of words,
ripe red tulips
for love is no easy friend,
I seek the beautiful...
We walk the sea,
new moon veils sun,
sky slowly changing
orange to red and violet to black,
storm clouds disappear...
To love again,
in the beauty of a woman,
is seen in her eyes,
doorway to her heart
where love resides...
My eyes see her,
heart beats again,
a new love
love will rescue me,
if not what will?

Today I write a few words for you
that is not here any more
it was your time to go
you were my best friend
giving me unconditional love
cuddling up to me in the night
snuggling close letting me know
that you were there for me
twenty wonderful years we shared
you always knew when I was down
and showed me so much extra love
you would jump up into my lap
rubbing your face against mine
how I cried wanted to die as well
the day the angels took you away
Gambit my friend the best cat ever

many and varied are the spices
that clutter through my life
one in particlar springs to mind
it was back in the depths of time
summer of 1965 in ireland
at fifteen years of age
I knew it all couldn't be told
I had a fancy to ride this horse
at a stables near Bantry Bay
For a few weeks I tried to persuade
the owner to let me ride him
he kept telling me no, no and still no
but at long last he agreed to my request
but first round the field he made me ride
well that was easy although not in control
I made it look as if I was by pulling up
on each and every corner ok he said
you can go out but you will be the first
from England if you come back together
so oft we set up hill along the coast
towering clifts to my right a wall ahead
I could not hold him oh no, no way
as he bolted up the hill i knew, just knew
I had to do something fast or we were dead
the gap between the wall too narrow
with thick trees along the wall
near 400 yard drop on my right to rocks
so I did the only thing I could
I turned his head hard to the left
brambles four to five feet high
and so thick you couldn't see their end
we crashed down hard but I kept the reins
so mounted and oft we went again slowly
twice more that wretched horse bolted with me
but I can say with foolish pride
we both returned to the stables together
I had learnt a lesson that day for sure
never bite off more than you can chew
I never ever asked to ride him again

I love you,
mi princesa,
much like Henry V111
Should have loved Catherine of Aragon...
I will never forsake you
or betray you
as he did to she,
for one day you will bare a son...
God is on our side
not just the pope,
there will be no divorce
no Anne Boleyn...
We are secure in our wants
we declare,"we are."
between roses I am born
with you I am alive...
You will not be forgotten
as you grow old,
adorned in silken thread and gold
you will forever be my queen...

You should really try the water out of the toilet bowl!
It's delicious!
Quit feeding me dry kibble, I want what you're having!
You got it wrong pal, I'm not man's best friend, you are dog's best friend.
Get that leash away from me. Sometimes I just have to scamper freely in the clover, or in a fresh female doggie dump!
You need to relax. Life is not that complicated. All you need is a good bone, a good belly rub, and a good fire hydrant.
I really hate it when you leave me here all alone. It seems like forever to me till you come back, please come back!
I will always love you no matter what. I don't care about what you look like or what clothes you wear, or what car you drive. All I want is your time, your food, and your love.

About this poem:
Dogs don't talk, but if they did, these are some of things I think they would tell us. A dogs ability to love us unconditionally is unmatched. If only women were more like dogs, thankfully some are.

I know that I was a dog when I was born
Now I do not know what I have become
Man in his insanity to create
Have gone about me to remake
First he would not have me see a second generation
So it was to the vet for sterilization
For he would not have me pass on my genes
Lest my off springs behave like his wayward teens
To the store I am brought and bought doggy clothes
I did not know I had anything I need to fear being exposed
Then he went about to change my character
That I am a dog first and foremost did not factor
When I would like to be outside running wild
I am locked in a house as a companion for his child
So I grow lazy and fat
Punishment lay in store if for fun I dare look at the cat
Imagine me a dog expected to sit and watch television
And to show excitement and appreciation
Where there is deficient love and devotion
I the dog am recipient of those emotions
Now I am no longer a dog
I have become a member of the family
What I have become I really hate
I wish man would my doghood reinstate
For I must do the things man think a dog enjoy
When rather I would do what makes a dog doggone happy

online today!
Time not a breath of movement not a sound
Motionless siloettes frozen in place
Erie moment now captured now held bound
Slowly cascading floating to no where
Out of breath gripped by fear clutching for straws
Faces so contorted with deceit blind
Crouching confined inching forward slow craw
Pain recessed into the crevices gone
They danced forms outlining one another
Moving almost as if they were just one
No visions of life just the two lovers
For that moment time stood still and they danced
As they flew from the nest the mother cried
Now empty exposed the nest built with pride

I woke up today after a rush of the night
thought I saw my own shadow but instead
it was the shadow of the hound.......
I found my best friend as I was driving apart
thought I saw it houl at the moon its
tail was wagging of joy it found
a new keeper its master I am.....
AHHHHHH

Hiding low my deep voice in depth of sound
More vocal my watery world than yours
Many miles in distance my presence found
Yet not far from the glimmering Azores
Large at birth swimming a winnowing sea
Transiting as I do from pole to pole
Roams vast a spirit for remaining free
Carefree I go shimmering shoal to shoal
Alive with such hope for life eternal
So much older now and so much wiser
Fills a legend from a sailor's journal
My famous name now flows like a geyser
Relate to Jonah tales of Isreal
Be watchful for spirit of Ishmael
