The asent of man. A riddle What points in history am I refering to. overall also

A new beging to inlighten , It last only 120 years A tragety of the mind it soon becomes
To be constraind with blindness of thought
No way out
Now we see the planets
We see only a little but it is a begining
We are 1500 years behind
We are seeing faster and faster now
Our growth is beyond our ability to catch up Should be 1500 years ahead in thought and science
They search but the answers can not come to many, for there minds are intraped, Many types of the same restraint. Now
our attention is governed by our emotions
Quick thought decised as deep thought is what we crave
Books sit on Library shelves, the development of mind awaints
Our thought molds as we are adicted to short fullfilling thought
My sadness is emence, the mind of man astray

The wish

The feeling
Familiar

Our life
Part of us

This can’t be

Break free
A man I am, inner me

Ultimately foresee
In him I seek closure from tyranny

Louder than before
Standing tall no more

Words fall
Hear whisper call

Hurled Words

Your words
like stormy pebbles
hurled at me
cross my other cheek
pierce my side
‘til no longer
a doubting Thomas
am I.

Darts fly.
Bleeding from
the wounds
inflicted
by nails
driven into flesh,
hands
stuck in odd repose
ask, Why?

Break-up

The words flew away
And silence invaded space
Between you and me.

House feels empty
What we shared burned out
Without fire

Hearts Throb

Hearts Throb.
Pensive thoughts,vacant dreams
No memories
Blown away like fallen leaves
to lie dead and forgotten
Selfishness,ego of another
Strikes at the penury of the heart
Depriving her freedom
Keeping her tethered to vows
While she wilts day by day.

Non-Stop Raindrops

Seasons of anguish in rhythmic rotation...
Meticulously taking their time...
Summers of sadness...
Winters of madness...
Thoroughly mine...

Like the inner-workings of a complex clock...
Gears of misery, memory blocked...
Autumn emotions...
Springtime erosions...
Raindrops of pain refusing to stop....

Miss I'm Impossible

I rise at six; say a prayer, check my phone,
Go to the kitchen for my fifteen minutes alone,
Drink my first cup of coffee and practice my smile
And pray for the strength to act docile.
"In the children's presence at least dear Father."
Spine straight, head up and smile on Heather.

Eight-thirty I walk through office doors head held high.
Smile in place, game face on and fighting the urge to sigh.
Appropriate greetings, smile, smile and wave.
Trisha, Andy, Mike, Samantha and even that creep Dave.
" Just another day, another act for the almighty dollar."
Man does Amy ever breaks her collar.

Five I shut my computer down and grab my pocket book.
Home I go to prepare dinner; good wives always cook.
A smile on my face I greet the kids and listen to their tales.
He got an A and she got homework about blue whales.
"Please make him be late, dear God I will take any excuse today."
His car is driving up I noted with dismay.

Ten the house is quiet finally but i can't mistake that for peace.
That I will get when mine, his or both heartbeat cease.
Matrimonial duties are the worse these days.
I avoid them in some unconventional ways.
"Forgive me Father for I am about to sin."
My headache will hit as soon as he walks in.

Tomorrow is a new start or that is what I was taught.
Will I get a new start out of this web in which I'm caught.
I hope so was my last thought before sleep came.
My last feeling though was on of intense shame.
"Father forgive me for I have sinned once more."
I moaned loud and hard as he opens the door.

The Taxi Driver

The lady is very lonely
Doesn't she feel the tears on her cheek
Too bad he left her somewhere on this lonely street

One of her high heels has broken so she walks on her bare feet
The rain has started falling and soon blue memories will be calling
As she walks on the sidewalks of this lonely street

She waves at a taxi he pulls to her side
The raindrops help her tears to hide
Now she's safe and warm sitting in the backseat

The taxi driver is thinking she don't remember me
It seems like a puff of smoke but it was long ago when she said
A taxi driver is all I'll ever be

The Good Front

He's been sailing on a ship called the good front
For so long he's lost track of time
No one else on board all alone is he with no destination in mind

He kept a log of all his heartaches
Tis a secret of a girl he once knew
But on the good front every day the skies are blue

Yes the captain is well
And every night on the starboard side
He searches without fail

All the stars up above
Would there be one to guide him to love
The winds are calm so he waits to sail

Whenever he sails the good front ashore
People cheer with such flare
The captain is known by everyone as charming and debonair

The Town Of All Alone

This part of Kentucky is dying
Most of the people who were here are dead and gone
In this part of Kentucky no one is crying
There's no one left to cry in the town of all alone

And memories have become vague shadows
The view from the front and back porch no longer matters
The only sound is the wind as it blows
For they took up the railroad tracks years ago

Its sad for me to say only time words were well said was yesterday
And a storm blew down the sign for the speed zone
In this part of Kentucky no one is crying
Please beware of steep curves in the town of all alone
