THE WATER'S FOOTSTEPS

Idon’t know
Why some say that the horse is a noble animal, the pigeon is beautiful
And why no vulture dwells in any person’s cage
I wonder why the clover is interior to alfalfa
One must wash eyes, look differently to things words must be washed
The word must be wind itself, the word must be the rain itself

One must shut umbrellas
One must walk in the rain
One must carry the thought, the recollection in the rain
One must go walk in the rain with all the townsfolk
One must see friends in the rain
One must search love in the rain
One must sleep with a woman in the rain
One must play in the rain
One must write, talk and plant lotus flowers in the rain
Life is repeated wetting
Life is swimming in the pond of present...

About this poem:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sohrab_Sepehri

I'm sending you one of my favorite Persian poems that I like very much, but I know that when poetry is translated to another language, it may not transfer the feelings properly. Of course this type of poetry is very different and it has its own fans, so I hope everybody likes it. I am fond of reading this poem because it expresses everything that is around us in a very simple and understandable way. When reading it, it makes me think about the world, the creator and all creatures differently, with a better perspective.

This is a part of poem if you like to read the whole, you can read it on below link.

There's nothing worse than your mom's thorns

There's nothing worse than your mom's thorns

only great big pointy spears!

A western wind has just been born

Witched Wolf

A cloak of red she
wore you thought it
was to adorn her.
This was not to be
for this cloak
it set her free.
Inside a beast
did roar but
the grandmother
sat at the door.
She had a
shotgun in hand
but not for
another it was
for her dear
granddaughter.
The witch had
cursed on her
a life of an
evil night for
when the moonlight
comes out the
beast does shout.
For it runs free
to tear and eat at
the human anatomy,
but this was not
to be you see
for with this cloak
of red it keeps the
demon deep down inside
there it can hide.

life

my life began in poverty
new clothes and things were not for me
not for us the things of wealth
you wanna bike build it yourself

life was hard but we went on
we played outside sports and so on
we made good friends and stuck together
no matter what we found some pleasure

I had two parents one good one bad
and thinking back this still makes me sad
but these things moulded me you see
helped make me be the man you see

looking back I came through ok
some friends didn't I`m sorry to say
but life goes on and now I`m freer
and my aches and pains mean I`m still here

Mushy Peas

I like mushy peas,
Mushy peas, mushy peas,
They plop on my plate,
They sit on my plate,
I do like mushy peas,

Mushy peas, mushy peas,
They're green, they're mushy,
They're warm if I'm on time,
They're cold if I'm late
I do like mushy peas,

Oh, how I like mushy peas,
They come in a can, I open the can,
Put straight into a pan, Plop,
Mushy peas, mushy peas,
I do like mushy peas,

Best ate with a spoon, mushy peas,
Or a fork, some bread?
Oh please for my peas,
Mushy peas, mushy peas,
Oh, how I like mushy peas,

Green mess on my plate,
Mushy peas all ate,
My bread wipes up,
My mushy peas, my mushy peas,
I do like my mushy peas.

love cuts like a knife.

She saw the beauty in his soul
felt compassion in his touch
She heard fullfillment in his voice
And longed for him so much

When he confessed he could not love her
For of his broken heart
She took the bowie in her hands
Then cut her own in half

AMERICA

America preaches world should follow their lead
people worldwide beseech our 'freedom' indeed
Our forefathers Constitution was brilliantly done
"We The People" defines Nation of one

Fallacious was 'Equality' and 'Justice for All'
in no country could that ever befall
Dreams of a free society came true
every freedom gov't often denies you

Americas' forced poverty behind rife despair
leaders HATE having to pretend to care
"God Bless America"...last words politicians say
they covet only power and prestige everyday

Please tone down the America's so Great
political correctness a disease born from hate
America deemed the melting pot of Earth
this reality has diminished American citizens worth

Mass diversity bound to bring about unrest
imbecilic ideology behind massive failed test
Patriots will mend Lady Americas' heart
A 'United States' divided inevitable from start

RedHeadedTaurus

That Day ...

Once upon a time ...
You were living life just fine.

But, the sky, that day
Was a dark, dreary gray.

Then, in the blink of an eye ...
You became a very different guy.

No fault of your own
You were simply headed home.

A victim of circumstance ...
You really had no chance.

If I had the power to change ...
That day, I would surely rearrange.

Once upon a time, you had it made, everyday.
Then, in the blink of an eye, it was taken away.

I Forgot You Now

``You come into my life when i need a shoulder to cry
You help me to find my the way to survive
To see the beauty of life
You are there always when i need someone to listen
To give me hand when i'm down,

I use to live my life of being with you closed to my heart.
You teach me how to smile..how to laugh..
But i never think that one day..
You leave me behind..i though that you are true
That i know everything about you...becouse
You never told me that you are not free anymore..

I want to die..becouse i dont want to know that
The man i learn to love is not free anymore..
I dont like to hear your name..that name that
I love to write every minute in my heart..
I cried a tears..tears that washed my face ...tears
That help my heart to forgot your memories.
I want to hate you.to curse you..but i cant do..
My love is forgiveness...i will let you go..go
And follow your heart..your dream...your love
Its time for me to face the truth ..that.
You are not belong to me..
I forgot you already....

Still,

TWILIGHT PARADE...

Across the evening skyline, eyes scan
Beauty of a forest, untouched by man
Roll in the distance, are hills so high
Crossing peaks to reach, towards the sky

Now heads with speed, faded end of day
Light losing power, dusk comes to play
Creatures of the night, stir to enjoy
Restrictions and dangers, never annoy

Shadows grow longer, soon to be lost
Rapid changes, snuff at beauty's cost
Hints of red, as a burning sun must fade
Rapid the change over, on twilight parade
