WhatUwish4: Hello up there!

I just saw this in the news a minute ago...

"After a week of withering attacks on President Obama's fiscal record, top Democrats on Sunday defended the president's plans for shaving down the deficit -- but said balancing the budget now would actually be a bad idea.
"

I swear. There is just no limit to their deceit. They would think nothing of standing at the podium holding a picture of an elephant and do everything possible to convince you it was a zebra.

That's why I don't balance my budget. It's a terrible idea.

I often post in the blogs on Yahoo and today I think I vented it all out. My post on Yahoo:

In my days in the workforce when someone didn't do a good job, they got fired. Companies have a right to do that and so do the American people. President Obama isn't and never was qualified to do the job that the resident of White House said he would do.

So we have to fire you Mr. President. You can try to collect unemployment benefits.....I hope you have better luck then I did.

You can also try to get food stamps....I wasn't able to because of red tape.

You'll be going back to Chicago.....maybe you can stay with Oprah until you find housing.

You are an at "At Will" employee which means we can fire you for any reason at all.

Unfortunately, we have lots of reason to give you a pink slip.

END OF VENT....cheering

Biden has moved from gaff master to mind reader......

According to Biden....that is almost a oxymoronan use of three words together......Romney wants war with Syria and Iran.

Then you have Romney's RNC address of only a few hours ago....in which war was mentioned about twice. The least amount of sabering rattling from a RNC nominee since 1952 (Eisenhower)

This is coming from a administration that surged in Afghanistan, eventually allied with Europe to snuff out Kdaffi, has sent guns to war making drug cartels in Mexico, left 35,000 in Iraq, and has not shut down GITMO.

While ignoring the Syrian Sunni that are being cut to ribbons by Russian, Iranians and Syrian forces. And just today, had Iran's Beushur reactor went to 100% online. But of course all options are on the table (remember those dead Iranian nuclear scienctists) and a few are under the table (Suxnet virusing of centrifuges) for Iran. And just a week ago, a no fly zone over Syria was in discussions.

Who is Biden kidding?

Biden is making a play to solidify the left wing of the DEM party that are anti war. This is not about Romney position on making war to Syria or Iran.

But Biden, like our thread master has the ability to read minds and to predict futures. He should not be VP Biden, but Prophet Biden of the DEM movement. Ah yes, only yesterday President Obama called the DEM party a 'movement'. Like I said that veil drops once in while.

So let us consider earlier movements in the world of politics.

The 1903 Communist Movement of Russia (Marx and Lenin)
The 1925 Communist Movement of North Vet Nam (Ho Chi Ming)
The 1949 Communist Movement of China (Mao Tsetung)
The 1969 Communist Movement of Cuba (Castro)
The 1990 Communist Movement of Venezeula (Chavez)
The 2012 --------- Movement of United States (Obama)

All were movements before they were parties in single control of a government and country.

Well I did not fill in the blanks for President Obama's movement. But if you connect the dots and can see that every 2 or 3 decades a certain type of movement comes around, you to can be a prophet and mind reader too. If you also note, that when that movement solidifies it does away with political opposition. But it always does this from a working class that has become 'poor'.

Biden, of course if asked that they have moved the DEM party into being a 'movement' will deny the claim. But movements are different than political parties. Political parties desire to work within the established government framework. Movements desire to destroy the
established government framework for something else.

The 2010 mid term was the first shots of the this conflict. The DEM movement was totally shocked that Americans had seen thru the hope and change of Barack Obama. They were stunned in the results of the 2010. As DEM of left and mid road were laid asunder in mass numbers. Americans rose to defend their Country and Constitution.

Today that is the real 'war' of this 2012 election. Not Iran or Syria.
But does the country slip slide to the left and a one party stagnation or remain dedicated to freedom and liberty in a Constitutional government.

Why did we not get photos of the deceased bin Laden?

We can speculate on this for hours. All have a right to a view and opinion. But I am going to offer a new reason.

The shot group on bin Laden's body contradicts the 'official version' given to us by the Obama administration.

Going back to the retired Navy Chief's description of the hall shooting. He was number two in a three man stack working down a dark hallway in the 3rd floor bin Laden main house. When he 'heard' two pops fired by the number one man in the stack. The man in front.

Over the mic he heard...."I saw a head come from the doorway". The lead man of the stack confirming he had shot.

They went to the doorway to find bin Laden dieing (still twitching) in a pool of blood in the bedroom near the door. The Navy Chief took photos and dNA samples were taken.

Compare that to the official version.

From it I quote.

They had fired two rounds at bin Laden from the stairway both missing that forced him back into the bedroom. Then...this ...

"Inside the bedroom two of bin Laden's wives stood in front of him, shielding him. One of them, 'Amal Ahmed Abdul Fatah' screamed at them in in Arabic and motioned that she was about to charge. One SEAL shot her in the leg and grabbed them both and shoved them away. A second SEAL entered the room and shot bin Laden in the chest and then in the head with his H & K 416 with Navy 866 5.56 mm rounds. The SEAL radio
"For God and Country, we got him, Geronimo, Geronimo, Geronimo." and then "Geronimo EKIA (enemy killed in action). Then in the White House Situation Room, President Obama said, "We got him."

The photos taken by the Navy Chief that night dispute the official version. According the Navy Chief only two rounds were fired and both hit bin Laden in the head in a tight shot group. The official vesion has him being shot in the chest and later in the head.

But keeping the shot close on a man that is moving is near impossible. bin Laden if shot in the chest first would be falling to the ground.
Then hitting him with a close shot group in the head would be near impossible. And more rounds are fired in the official version. bin Laden's bodies has to have the holes to prove they were fired.

This is why we don't and will not see the photos of the deceased bin Laden. They confirm the tight shot group to the head.

Before moving on the second part of this. Which of these two versions is better for a Hollywood movie? Which includes President Obama?

ttom500: I think that you got it. The 2009 bailout was the biggest hope of a trickle down stimulation of the economy that we have had.

Here a link to the 928 bailout firms and their recent paybacks of the bailout loans.

Only about 50% of these loans have been repaid. If these firms begin to default on the loans.....in a sluggish economy > than 2% growth is a sluggish economy.....what happens?

Again the firm faces a devaluation of their credit ratings. Bond holders around the world get nervous and the financial monitoring firms Moodys, S and P....will again look to devalue first the borrowing frims. Then the lending organization that made the bad investment....the good old USA.

With that devaluation your next car will carry a higher interest rate.
The foreign commerce that country does will carry a higher interest rate. You next house or student loan....higher interest rates.

Until those 928 firms pay off the last dime of the bailout, the taxpayer is on the hook. Already CBO is saying they see 60b that is not going to be repaid. Note they are not saying from whom. But you want to bailout a firm twice in four years time? Not me. Let it sink. M and A it. Merger and Acquisition it. Merge some of the division and sell others. My instincts are saying that is what the this nest stimulus is about. Covering the failing firms of the 928.

This is what I meant earlier about playing a hand of cards with the bailout. Obama put the 800b on the table. Having a weak economy and weak global economy. If he had held, checked and got new cards.....with new innovation (like my fuel cell) and DoD contracts.....we might be in a better place. We will never know.

But to be fair and not just doing political giggles on this. We bought a car during the 2009 bailout. Got a good deal on it from a dealer that was closing. I just sold it 6 months ago and because of the good buy, made some money on it. Some people were kept a afloat and homes with the housing refinancing but not all. So some benefit in main street did occur. But you had to be in a financial shape to take advantage of it. Most were not.

Just call me frugal and a conservative. When I push 800b into the pot, my forehead sweats.....)) and my hand shakes a little. Obama did this way to easy with a all DEM government in 2009.

Ever hold a H&K416? It takes at least one hand. Most of the time two. But we have a SEAL in the official version, that is shooting one of bin Laden wives that was threatening a charge and then pulling them both to the side. Clearing them for a shot by a following SEAL on bin Laden.

All very Hollywood and very good for a movie trailer/sceen. A lot of action there. Screaming. Movement. SEALs with guns in action. But fake as fake gets. Trying to control a H&K416 while you pushing two women, one wounded aside. You need more than two hands to do it. Else one of those two screaming and wounded women can grab it and use it on you.

If I am so close to bin Laden that I am pushing his shielding wives aside. Why not just take bin Laden down? In fact my SEAL training is saying do exactly that. You always control the greatest threat first.
The butt end of a H&K416 makes a heck of a weapon. One sharp thrust to bin Laden jaw with it. He is down. He is also living and coming to Washington to talk and be tried.

The Navy Chiefs photos will dispute the 'official version' I suggest.
And the 'official version' was written for a hollywood movie script, I suggest.

What is clear here. The white house and President used the bin Laden raid in manner to enhance President Obama politically. They gave a altered version that was for mass public dissemination and consumption.
One that today, is highly suspect.

We have never seen or had media talk with the 16 captured at the bin Laden compound that night. Nor have the wive sof bin Laden ever givn thier version. They ar enow serving time in a Pakistani prison.

The liberal media eat the 'official version' of bin Laden's death up.

Photos of the 911 attack, pic of the 3000, cries of justice done.

Today with the Navy Chief's differing version emerging. Can anyone trust the liberal media when it comes to promoting President Obama?
They would not only make a fake movie of the events for him. They would not seek the truth of the night's events. Call for bin Laden's photos. Or demand that the investigation report of the Navy Seal 6 Team shot down be made public.

Good and honorable Americans, that have been forgotten for a President
that discredits their greatest mission for political gain.

So that is it. Liberal in Europe blame GWB for their economic problems.
They don't blame their own government or their high taxes or their sluggish GNPs. But good old GWB caused all your economic problems as well.

LOL....GWB did not cause your economic problems. Plain and simple.
You did. With "free healthcare" and other free benefits. You messed up your economies. You made government to large a sector, for most European countries the Government is about 35% right?

Listen to Ryan's Bush Foundation video again if you want the out to your austerity problems. Government has to get down to about 20% of the economic GNP pie. So don't blame Bush. You'll made those decisions.

A little update on Obamacare...(today)

The House Energy & Commerce Committee is out with a new report today on how President Obama’s government takeover of health care is leading to: “Higher Costs, More Confusion and Less Coverage” for America’s job creators – including members of the president’s own jobs council. Members of the council – who were brought together last year to advise the president “on ways to create jobs, opportunity, and prosperity” – will have trouble fulfilling that mission within their own companies thanks to ObamaCare’s vast labyrinth of mandates, penalties, taxes and regulations, according to internal documents provided to the committee. The committee’s findings confirm that ObamaCare has not only failed to live up to its promise to “bend the cost curve” and allow Americans to keep the coverage they like, it has – as economists and experts warned - made it harder for job creators to put more Americans back to work. Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) explains:

“This analysis makes it clear that the president’s health care law impedes companies’ ability to grow by imposing burdensome mandates, taxes, and fees. To make matters worse, many of the law’s most onerous mandates have yet to be written, leaving job creators with many unanswered questions regarding how much the law will ultimately cost and how to plan for these expenses. This report echoes numerous other analyses that project the president’s health care law will actually hurt job creators by increasing costs and ultimately could lead them to drop coverage.”

Today’s report is part of an ongoing effort on the part of House Republicans to hold the administration accountable for its failed policies that are making it harder for the private-sector to create jobs. In addition to today’s report, the Energy & Commerce Committee is conducting a separate, ongoing investigation into the backroom deals & secret negotiations that went on between the Obama administration and the health care industry as the law was developed.

WhatUwish4: I agree about the primary model. I don't see the value of any of us registering as one party or another except that it helps the politicians. I think they should rise and fall on their own performance, and not because of party affiliation.

But I don't consider GWB's presidency a catastrophy. Sorry Dude. He could have done a few things better, but all in all, we were better under him than now. Obama's presidency is a catastrophy, IMHO.
the biggest catasrophy a bout GWB evnebecame president was that the man was not even electied what so ever! Will of people is what I care a bout and GWB was never elected as prefered candidates of majrity of americans back then and that is a catastrophy in a modern and free country Wish4... if the dang butthead was out of the race and then again became candidate in 2004 and then elected then cool... but year 2000 results? •…Saving Medicare: The Wall Street Journal says Democrats cut more than $700 billion from Medicare “by cranking down Medicare's price controls for hospitals and by gutting Medicare Advantage.” They then “used the ‘cuts’ to hide ObamaCare's true 13-figure cost.” Republicans “have a plan to save” Medicare for current seniors and future generations.

•…Stopping the Tax Hikes: The OC Register says President Obama’s coming tax hikes could make our struggling economy “much worse.” Ernst & Young says they would destroy more than 700,000 jobs. Economists, small business owners, and the American people all oppose them. The House passed a bipartisan bill to stop all of the tax hikes on middle class families and small businesses – now Senate Democrats need to do the same.

•… Replacing the ‘Sequester’ Cuts: The Obama administration admits the ‘sequester’ defense cuts it demanded would “hollow out” our armed forces and devastate our national security. The House passed a bill back in May to replace these cuts with common-sense savings and reforms. The president, however, still hasn’t outlined a plan of his own to stop them.

•…Creating New Jobs: The unemployment rate has been higher than eight percent for 42 months, and yet the centerpiece of the president’s campaign is a small business tax hike that would make things worse. Republicans have passed more than 30 jobs bills that remove barriers to job growth, cut red tape, and help keep jobs in America (and bring home some of the jobs that have gone overseas). These bills remain blocked by Senate Democrats.

No I would not call it assignation. If you follow the NAVY Chief version, bin Laden peaked his head around a door way and the lead SEAL of the stack shot him.

bin Laden was using the wall as a screen and shield. The lead SEAL cannot see his hands. He might of had a weapon in them. So he shoots in self defense. Old story....better safe than sorry. Shoot first and ask question latter, is another. This shooting was close. Maybe 10 feet in distance.

Both rounds found their mark so a real tight shot group on bin Laden head. The photos would show that.

They would also show that the official version being shot in the chest and shot as he was falling is very improbable. It is very hard to keep a tight shot group on a falling man. JMO.....

The producer of the movie were in the White House 2 weeks after the bin Laden raid went down. The White House and the Pentagon gave them 'the official version' of events.

But the Navy Chief is saying.....it did not go down that way.

So the White House and the Pentagon imbellished the events of the night. To make it more dramatic for a hollywood movie and for Obama PR.

The bin Laden movie

A New York congressman is looking to kill Kathryn Bigelow's movie on the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said that Bigelow's movie could possibly endanger members of the Navy's SEAL team who took down bin Laden in a clandestine raid on his hideaway in Pakistan in May.

"Most SEALs want to stay in the background,'' King said to the Associated Press, and not "tip off the enemy of what they do and don't do.''

Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal, who both won Oscars for the 2009 film The Hurt Locker, said they are sensitive to the security issues.

"The dangerous work of finding the world's most wanted man was carried out by individuals in the military and intelligence communities who put their lives at risk for the greater good without regard for political affiliation," the two said in a joint statement. "This was an American triumph, both heroic and nonpartisan, and there is no basis to suggest that our film will represent this enormous victory otherwise.''

King also turned up the heat on the White House, suggesting the office gave sensitive information to the filmmakers.

A spokesman for the White House was not having it.

"We do not discuss classified information. And I would hope that as we face the continued threat from terrorism, the House Committee on Homeland Security would have more important topics to discuss than a movie,'' the spokesman said.

Bigelow's movie, formerly called Kill bin Laden, is due in theaters weeks before the 2012 presidential election.

And O is doing that in spades as we post.
Lawsuit: Obama Is ‘Illegally’ Thwarting Offshore Drilling

A new lawsuit filed by an independent American oil and gas company charges that the Obama administration is blocking legitimate efforts to find and produce oil from offshore wells.

“Given the challenges still facing the U.S. economy, the government needs to move aside and let private industry do what private industry does best: create jobs and increase our oil supply to help lower the price at the pump,” a report from the Heritage Foundation states.

“And yet the Obama administration remains committed to strangling America’s economic revival by doing everything in its power to prevent companies that obtain offshore leases from actually drilling and producing oil — a fact evidenced by a new lawsuit just filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims by an independent U.S. oil and gas company.”

By March 2010, ATP Oil & Gas Corporation received oil leases and necessary permits to drill in the Gulf of Mexico, and installed state-of-the-art drilling and processing equipment to safely access already-penetrated oil reservoirs, according to the report. The project was financed with $1.5 billion from J.P. Morgan.

Then in April 2010, the BP-operated Deepwater Horizon rig in the Gulf exploded while drilling a well into a previously unexplored reservoir. In response, the Obama administration ordered moratoria on deep-water drilling and barred consideration of new permits.

As a result, the ATP operation was shut down.

ATP has now struck back by filing a lawsuit alleging that the Interior Department “improperly and illegally suspended all deep-water offshore drilling activities and imposed two illegal moratoria on the deep-water drilling permit application process and then unreasonably and unlawfully delayed the issuance of drilling permits after the lifting of the formal moratoria.”

ATP is essentially asserting that the government breached its offshore leases with ATP by violating the Administrative Procedure Act in two ways, according to the Heritage Foundation report written by Hans von Spakovsky and Nicolas Loris: “By issuing overbroad moratoria, and by manipulating seven experts from the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) to bolster a recommendation for the moratoria.”

They also point out that all seven NAE experts denied supporting moratoria recommendations, and a previous court case concluded that a White House official had changed the report used to justify the moratoria.

The authors write: “ATP’s lawsuit provides a revealing glimpse into the capital-intensive oil and gas industry where unfair and illegal actions by a government agency can cost companies (and the U.S. economy) enormous sums of money.”

Opening the outer continental shelf to drilling, they add, “would generate hundreds of thousands of new jobs, generate hundreds of billions of dollars in government revenue, and bring more oil to the world market, thereby lowering gas prices.”

WhatUwish4: •…Saving Medicare: The Wall Street Journal says Democrats cut more than $700 billion from Medicare “by cranking down Medicare's price controls for hospitals and by gutting Medicare Advantage.” They then “used the ‘cuts’ to hide ObamaCare's true 13-figure cost.” Republicans “have a plan to save” Medicare for current seniors and future generations.

.
that's desgustingbarf think of this...most of the seniors on medicare have paid the most of anybody...for the most part, they were about ten years old when social security and income tax was invented to pay off the fed for a job our government had the right to do in the first place...they have paid all that time and now every time they turn around, something is being taken from them...sickening !!...hell, their social security, which was and is, a tax, is even being taxed again when they finally get it...and to top it off, when they get sick, the good ole hospice comes in now to feel them full of morphine to shut them down...they threw dr. kevorkian in preson for the same thing {practically} not too long ago...and it has'nt been very long that hospice has started that practice...morphine , not very long ago, was for severe pain...most of our government needs a double dose...SICKENING!!!!!!mumbling frustrated

WhatUwish4: I agree. Now that he's already shown his true colors, it's frightening to think of what he would do in four more years when he doesn't have to worry about re-election or who he ticks off.
it'll be executive order with no holds barred....professor

Lawsuit: Obama Is ‘Illegally’ Thwarting Offshore Drilling

A new lawsuit filed by an independent American oil and gas company charges that the Obama administration is blocking legitimate efforts to find and produce oil from offshore wells.

“Given the challenges still facing the U.S. economy, the government needs to move aside and let private industry do what private industry does best: create jobs and increase our oil supply to help lower the price at the pump,” a report from the Heritage Foundation states.

I suspect that once he loses his power, people on his staff or are "in the know" will start talking their heads off about all the crap he's pulled.

I hope this law suit pans out. Having Holder in the DOJ makes things a bit of a stacked deck, even if he has been somewhat compromised.

montemonte: The bin Laden movie

The "fake" official version.....was in the planning and making 2 weeks after the raid. The released timing was selected to give President Obama the biggest bump possible.

REP King led the house investigation into Islam. He knows that that if you release material like this....retribution strikes will be planned against the SEALs....SEALs that the White House gave out identity and names on following the raid.

It stinks.

Military people should boycott and protest the movie. Should do a online petition and should sign walk in front theatres showing it.
This to protect the NAVY SEAL and to show the administration official version is fake.

In fact.

I think I know some local military. That will be very happy to do just that.
