Pretty sure he is talking about the 400acre US Steel Works that closed in 1992. The plant was never reopened. Rob Emanuel has worked thru a
economic development package to tear the plant down and to rebuild a commercial and housing complex.
The point I to come to is this. Community Organizer and then State Senator Obama was not able to reopen the plant and get employment for
his community.
That does not bode well for a man that is trying to stimulate the economy of the entire country.

Pretty sure he is talking about the 400acre US Steel Works that closed in 1992. The plant was never reopened. Rob Emanuel has worked thru a
economic development package to tear the plant down and to rebuild a commercial and housing complex.
The point I to come to is this. Community Organizer and then State Senator Obama was not able to reopen the plant and get employment for
his community.
That does not bode well for a man that is trying to stimulate the economy of the entire country.

There's nothing to watch when someone gives a speech but I watched Biden because it was my entertainment for the evening. He struggled and struggled to get the audience to listen by whispering da woids and then doing the almighty political shout. When the audience wanted to clap for HIM he said "no, no" and put his hand up to stop them. One important message Biden sent is that he wuvs his wife Oh my goodness he weally weally wuvs his wife.
If you missed tne "this man" opening of Biden's speech, oh my goodness you missed the fantastic friendship the VP has with da Prez. I mean, they paint each others fingernails every Friday night. But I watch and watched and ate my potato chips to drown out the noise
Hail to the Chief.....the President walks on the stage, big smile, waving to da folks, flags waving and then and then and then. A newcomer would think, wow, he's going to do a lot for this country. But he didn't say anything I haven't heard before so I kept the speech on the tv and went about my business playing solitaire on the computer. It wasn't as much fun as Biden but a girl can't have eveything. Clinton gave a better speech then the man who is trying to keep the chair in the Oval Office.
But I had to turn around to look at the 100 pieces of confetti falling everywhere but on the stage. A convention is not a convention without balloons.
