If they choose not to want you, you can either see it or rejection, or a get-out-of-jail-free card from a loveless relationship.
It is defintely an out of jail card, I'm sure people know that underneath. True we often paint the rejected as somehow less aware, but it shouldn't be that way.
The old saying the stone that was rejected by the builders has become the cornerstone. If we are rejected by what we assume will feed us what we seek is probably not good for us from the start. Rejection and resistance is pretty much the same. When we go against the flow of the natural order of love and harmony we only defeat ourselves. Look not at rejection as a sign of defeat or lack of acceptance but a lesson in understanding selective order.

serene56: It isn't so lol but Bauksi is simply a wind-up merchant, he uses words like some kind of performance art
I know you're right and we know Bauksi and his ways but a new comer might not quite get him. Glad he's not your boyfriend though!...You're way to clever for him...lol
fugitive432: Thanks for the rantspace! I feel a bit better now.
Rejection can come in different forms. Could be in dating, could be with a job, could be something else. I don' t necessarily need to perceive it as rejection always though. In dating I just may not be a match for someone or them me. In a job they may have just found someone more suitable for the position.
These things have happened to me several times in the last 5 years, but I have learned to deal with them. All I can do is move forward and keep trying.
Welcome to the forums fugitive.
In a couple of hours I' ll be going to my job which is totally unrelated to my education.
Rejection is fine. Winners lose and get rejected repeatedly throughout life.
It's how you handle the fear of rejection that counts. Does fear motivate you to the best you can be, to give you the best chances with women, with your job or with anything at all? Or do you wilt under the pressure of fear and do nothing, or aim so low in life that nobody cares(even yourself)whether you succeed? This is what separates the men from the boys.

Can't say it better than OW... Unfortunately quite a lot of people find it very difficult to deal with the rejection and usually get aggressive and abusive...

Bauksi: Let your hair grow, throw your glasses away and put the book to side and you will not be rejected anymore.
Greetings from a simple minded Austrian fellow bauksi ;)
Very funny Bauksi. I like you though. You do realize, I'm sure, that what you suggest is only convenient for someone aspiring to be a barbie doll. You must not forget to include "and get the hand cuffs ready" 'cause once prince charming has come he'll be gone, not caring for my other charms (and don't you dare tell me I don't have any!)

I also took a glance. Easily an 8+ In that particular photo. (And that is extremely high on my rating scale of beauty) perfection indeed! Ms. Fugitive makes a very valid point though.
I'm not into short hair myself. However, I'd take a brainy woman over a Barbie doll any day.
