Yep, totally agree with you there. I have a low tolerance for pompousness and much prefer a humble man.

There are other things I would prefer talking about than his money, his job, his car and all his gadgets.
Someone mature with a bit of brain will find other topics to talk about and other ways to attract someone than purely his financial means.
I had it as well that guys tried to find out about my financial means which didn't get them any bonus points either.
