I can only comment from my own perspective.
In my 20's - never happened but someone in his 30's could have been attractive.
I don't want to offend anyone, I do have a good few friends and acquaintances 10 to 20 years older - but I wouldn't start anything with them as they are in a different stage of life, usually have different interests (and kids etc.) and I simply fancy someone around my age. I do like to head out, dance and have fun. I'm footloose and want someone the same.
I wouldn't touch anyone 10 years younger either, let alone more.
As for younger guys hitting on me - I doubt 99% look for anything serious and I simply have no interest in something like that (no matter the age btw).
If other people want to have some fun, enjoy yourselves. We all live once and want different things.

What you call 'experience' between younger and older ladies is a matter of discussion. I've seen 10/15 years younger men not only attracted but truly in love with an older female. It all depends on the level of maturity from both sides. I also think depending on the culture that might be seen more or less acceptable.

lol madI dunno what all the fuss is about though, so what if there's an age gap in this day and age! There were age gaps way back in the roaring twenties and before it. A friend of mine is married to a guy 15 year younger and they're happy out! And they even have opposite type personalities! She's very outgoing and he's the quiet, calm type.
As for younger men seeking out older women just because they're curious, well good luck to them. Let them find out at least. And if an older woman wants a younger guy just for 'fun', so what, let her and don't be frowning at her! lol

well if it is only attraction than that can come in all shapes and sizes and ages who knows what attracts a younger man to a older woman I think it is normal
here is a man in his late 30`s to a woman in her late 60`s i see them and i try to see if something is wrong with the man (mentally) because I cant see the attraction he has for her,she looks like his mother when they are out and about ,and she has done nothing to make her self look younger than him she keeps a head full of gray hair ,they are both a nice size

On the occasion that a young man has shown interest in me, I've asked them what it is that interests them about getting involved with a woman old enough to be their mother and they tell me something very different from what you're claiming. To each their own but I'm totally not interested in a relationship with someone young enough to be my son.

Maybe there are younger more mature men who aren't shallow about an older woman's appearance?

I read an article about that once; alot of the younger men who prefer older women for a relationship or marriage tend to be very mature and old for their age and more intelligent.
I agree with what you are saying about some older women looking better than some younger women. I used to be very strong and firm but I see women who are still in high school who are flabby! I'm not saying whether or not they are thin, it doesn't matter, they are not firm at all even if they are thin!
Another thing: people don't all age at the same rate. Sometimes a younger man looks old for his age, and the older woman looks younger. So together people might not realize there is an age gap--or much of one. Same goes for maturity, some never mature much and others can be very mature even when younger, this varies person to person to one degree or another.
