minnieme2: Agree or disagree or abstain? Isn't it a bit suspect that someone who says they're in a relationsship spends so much time on CS flirting with so many, all be it harmless flirting? Doesn't say much for the relationship, does it? That's just my opinion from what I observed.
I'm in a LDR with a guy I met here. Relationships are not about being nose-to-nose 24/7. LDR relationships are way harder, no shared friends, no shared experiences between meetings. When we are apart, this is our only shared social life. CS owes us!
You worry about your love life, let us worry about ours. Good luck and good hunting.

well conventional wisdom would say no, the person should be concentrating on their relationship but then...what do I care? People do all kindsa crazy stuff. I think chatting on CS is the pretty innocent in the big picture
skippyguy: i have some wonderful Memories from Pets, which will never forget, but no don't mix well with travelling............
We always had lots of animals and pets around when growing up, I just haven't had any since living in Ireland and I'm getting used to having nothing to tie me down. Might start with stuff like that again in a while.

I simply wouldn't have the interest or desire to be on an online dating site forum if I was in a relationship.
I'd be looking for a reason to be outta here
If my real-life partner(NB real-life....not a cyber LDR) chose to flirt with other women on a forum here and spend much of his time on the site, I'd be thinking there's something seriously wrong with the relationship.
I am not referring to dating either....I am referring to a real-life committed relationship.
I'd struggle to find the time for starters. I'd keep in contact by email with friends I've made, but that would be it. My attention would be elsewhere.

Very well said and I totally agree with you on this. I suspect a lot of people agree with this as indicated by the poll results so far.

2intrigued: All is well out my way...freezing cold outside though. It sounds like you've been a busy lady today.
Busy? Yep....Monday here....and it ain't over yet.
Looking forward to putting my feet up later on....
Sun still streaming down here and will be until at least 7:30....daylight saving kicked in, October last year. I'm not a fan of the colder temps so don't envy you guys at the mo.

Kick off your shoes and relax for a bit and that's an order. Can't wait for spring here.

That's ok, I was thinking along the lines of a Swiss Sennendog pup and a kitten and both of the terrorising the new neighbourhood.
