The internet keeps me up late. I have pals in other parts of the world, so I may end up skyping/chatting long after midnight, but i love my pals and won't trade them in
A sense of guilt used to keep me up, not anymore :) Sometimes, happy adrenaline rushes keep me up too. But between evening yoga and melatonin I sleep like a baby. Yoga does wonders for sleep quality :)
I have always been a good sleeper and can fall asleep at the drop of a hat. However living in a hot country sometimes the nights are so warm sleeping can be a restless and sweaty affair.

I hope talking with you friends helps you sleep eventually.

Hi my friend. Last time I slept in Spain I shared the bed with a mouse who left his/her calling card on my pillow at night. I have to say the heat didn't bother me much when i had that to look forward to every night.
RainComeShine: I take a hot water bottle but still struggle to sleep. I'm completely stumped in the summer. lol
I wish I knew. None of your options, but some nights I simply cannot get to sleep - or wake up after an hour and that's it. Nothing for it but to doze as best I can, relax every muscle, and tell myself that's as good as sleep.
serene56: I have a meditative technique that shuts down internal dialogue prior to sleep every single time and I'm very grateful for that I rarely need to use it though as I am active and healthy and try to deal with concerns during my waking hours.
I figure that if I can't fix things during the day, I'm sure not going to during the night My bed is comfy, the room is uncluttered and contains no electronic devices , it is a sleep destination
Great strategy
I'm occasionally kept awake by all the damned aliens, but what can you do

. . . Electric blanket Is the key in the winter and air con in the summer, but dogs from miles away barking and also Owls that live in the area make a lot of noise especially the babies.

I'd like to be kept awake by those sounds of nature.
Obstinance_Works: Lots of things from women and the pollution caused by Chinese industrialisation to the fact that I sometimes buy a shirt and don't even wear it.
Like your shirt, since Christmas I now have two hot water bottles. Anyone out there need one so I can get some sleep?
