Perhaps you would be interested in President's Eissenhower's Presidential Exit speech?

He very cleaned both warned the American people and pointed out what would happen if they were lulled into becoming politically apathetic ...

Smart man Ike Eisenhower .., but you wouldn't beat all interested in reading a serious commentary / forecast by a good man who did actually know what he was talking about. Exposed to unarguably accurate and truthful information you'd drop into a state of psychic dissonance and throw a fit ( as usual )

Tissues?

Hot choc ?

Sorry, but all the counsellors went insane and are now in secure accomodation.

The therapy dogs were smarter than the counsellor ... they had a bellyful and then ran away to different cities, denied their identity, acted like strays, were caught by animal control and all were re-homed quickly :-)

cheers

I never spent too much time out on the "farm" so I never had a lot time getting to know the different Shotguns and so on. I recently was with a buddy of mine that was shopping for a new Shotgun so I went along and was really amazed at how many different kinds and options they have. Obviously some are built for home defense and others for those that like to go out hunting. I also was surprised how inexpensive a very reliable "shorter" style, (for Home defense) costs. Of course the price goes up pretty fast when they are Semi Automatic (and longer barrel) instead of the pump style. It was interesting listening to the man talk about the "sound" of a Pump shotgun in that the "sound" of that first "Pump" is very familiar to a lot of would be criminals and that the sound alone many times will motivate someone to get the heck out of dodge. Anyways, always something new it seems...maybe not to everyone but for me, and maybe others that are older than we used to be. I find it is interesting that there always seems to be something "new" and that if we choose to that we can always learn new things and maybe even see how other people live and why they might make some of the choices they make. I didn't get one but I did find it all very interesting. I think if I would have grown up out on the farm I probably would have learned all this stuff when I was very young. I have some friends that moved here from the midwest that not only shooting both rifles and handguns were just part of life but also flying planes to take care of the crops and so on. Just a entirely different world but still here in the USA. I would not be surprised if there are similar lifestyles all over the world that people grew up responsibly with things that unfortunately others choose to use for purposes that are not acceptable. I also think that it is also a loss that many people don't seem to have been taught to show a respect or just a common courtesy to many times the people that might live right next door. Well, all this is probably off the topic but I haven't really posted much lately and thought I would go ahead and share that story.

Be safe. Be Kind. Take a deep breath and poor yourself a nice glass of water.

Ike would be turning in his grave, at the way his words have been twisted by the gun lobbyists, He was indeed a clever man, but he would never have allowed the unregulated chaos, that the USA has today regarding weapons.

Another quote from the man “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex.”

The left is back where it belongs: in opposition; the nagging voice in your ear.
And the rigid and unimaginative are back where they belong: in power.

Being the establishment looks terrible on you. So terrible that a spastic popular elitism where the little guy votes for hierarchy can beat you.

GUZMAN1: Gun Control in Spain: two rural agents dead shot by a man whose hunting license had expired.

Rural agents are an environmental department.

New rules for the department.

Now agents are going to wear a bullet-proof jacket, into patrols of three, one of them armed.

Now they can defend themselves.

The problem is not the guns. The problem is the amount of illegal guns and the lack of education in the people using them. Trust me, take away our guns and in less than 10 years people will say get rid of hammers, bats, bow and arrows. Sadly taking guns away will not stop our violent nature, education is the key to most of the worlds problems.... my 2 cents ;)

Body armor? :uh oh:

Better wear triple body armor with the newer caliber and loads out today. Besides, if you put one incindiary .50 cal round through someone's nose their won't be anything left inside the jacket.

And can you imagine what the impact would feel by someone wearing three jackets if he was hit by the new SSK .95 caliber having a 2500 grain bullet with 250 grains smokeless powder propelling it?

Ike was a a huge 2nd Amendment Supporter. Ike had a skeet shooting range added onto Camp David.

You make a lot of sense in areas of Chinese corruption and brutality and how China is the biggest contributor to a climat change but you talk silly nonsense here regarding guns.

Unregulated chaos? rolling on the floor laughing

Gun control is the first step to banning guns altogether for the ordinary man , look at the UK they took away our right even own guns.

I would like to have the right to have a weapon for sporting purposes. I can't even do that, only government controlled agencies have that right.

I support the Americaqns right to bear arms, be careful or you will have it taken away.

rizlared: What is wrong with gun control? Why do certain people equate regulations with removal? Common sense would say logical control is the sensible way forward, especially in a country with such a high level of death by guns!

Here, in the interest of 'common sense' I teach ALL youtube and cs viewer how to make a single shot .22 out of a common construction bolt. Obviously we use a 7/32" drill bit for the barrel with a 15/64" bit at the chamber end (if needed. Also good is wallowing out the chamber end with the 7/32 bit).

What 'common sense' teaches us is that like mastering the secret of constructing a wheel, or how to make an electric current, such things are secret no longer and anyone 5 or more years of age can have a gun at anytime, as long as they a) want one, and b) have access to scrap metal.
