Self confidence is important when travelling, but travelling in itself improves self confidence, particularly if you're a solo traveller.
After I retired all I wanted to do was travel, but my financial position wasn't conducive to long term travelling. Instead I registered on a website that allowed me to do voluntary work covering about 170 countries worldwide.
I spent the following two years, off and on working around Europe and various parts of the Uk. This improved my self confidence a great deal as each job was different and I never really knew what to expect. Usually I would be part of a group of people from all parts of the world so there was really no place for introspection, it was all great fun.
I hope to start again in the New Year, I really missed it last year.

I guess it’s relative to what you’re retiring from. I’m sure that travelling the world is more of a relaxing challenge than a career in open heart surgery, but working in a factory for life is terrifying in a different and mindnumbing way. Travelling the world is probably more intimidating than a low-skill, low-status and low-confidence job for life where you accept a life of boredom because you don’t have self-confidence.

We know Mr. Rent and his friend Larry used to go camping
We know that Mr. Rent is a considerate person cause he didn't want to dirty Terry's carpet
We know that Terry had a stroke and that he is retired
We also know that Melody's parrot Willy likes to dance to music
We know that Melody really wants a jukebox
We know that Melody is a champion at blowing bubbles
The biggest thing we know is that Melody has taught Mr. Rent how to JAJAJAJAJAJA

2) There are so many people in this world, the web, this site spending so much time and energy spreading jealousy, envy, bitterness, bad vibes, that I love to counteract their toxic actions spreading happiness,love, fun, laughter, good vibes... Somebody messaged me here and told me they loved me on CS because I had a bubbly personality and I was so much fun to be around... And I can't be more proud but also more grateful to make anyone have that opinion and thoughts about me... I am what you all see and read... And that won't change anytime soon and because of anyone...
