One way involves a lot of acting and seems a Bowie kind of thing to do, the other to be imagined tall, dark and handsome not even intentionally, or at least they've grew to like you a bit before having to see your face. Looks are not everything.

1. Yes i don't think makeup does women any favours...like a fake photo...makeup is deceptive and you can't see the real person...but makeup companies make billions...so they won't want the cash cows...to stop spending on it and making them people very rich
2. I think women wear makeup...due to insecurity....and your comment ranforced my reasoning...you want a man to see beyond all the deceptive makeup...but you don't trust a man...to judge you on how you really look and when he does...is it a negative reaction you get?

Honesty cannot be judged by just one thing. It is a common thing that no one in the world is 100% honest. You can say only new born baby is 100% honest.
few people go to beauty parlor and apply cream, chemical on their face. Some apply hair dye to their hair.
Some people make their Profile photos beautiful in Photoshop. Some people put beautiful photos of others in their profiles. Some people don't even put photos in their profiles.
etc......etc..
it means, It's stupidity to expect 100% pure honesty. Just keep in mind that our dishonesty should not harm anyone.
there is not any perfect formula to judge a person. Divorces and breakups are happening a lot in the world, that means no one knows how to judge.
That is why instead of judging others, if we judge ourselves, then perhaps we will be able to make ourselves better.

I voted for without a photo, if you really feel attracted to one eachother, the photo's can be send later, but the truth will always win. If you go on a date and they dicover your picture was fake, they know that they can't trust you at all. So lying is even worse than showing other people how ugly you are. (For some people the ugly ones are very attractive, I see good looking fellas with an ugly woman and then I wonder what the hell does she has that makes him love her).

As for whom is more honest well that is up for debate,since for my experience many claim to be honest but do not have the guts to say u what they think...

Eyes will tell u a lot only if u are face to face,seeing eyes through a picture won't help u much...Since a pic can be photoshopped/edited tho.

In my opinion someone without a face has something to hide it can be:
A person do feel insecure with the way they look.
They have a husband/boyfriend
They have a wife/girlfriend
Or they are in a military or work for the Government.
Just the way I explain an absence of picture. That's all
