No sweaty. You are still young, without experience and naive. In a real life it goes like this:
For each marriage is enough that only one partner is smart. Two is to great concentration of intelligence on a small space and means quick divorce. So, if somebody must be smart than the best will be that this one is you. You will plan his life and you will manage family. But,I agree with you, he had to be caring and bring you money, more and more and more.... 'cos nobody knows to spent so useful money like you.

I spent lunchtime with a friend and we discussed the nagging obsession that his wife has taken up since he was made redundant and then we moved on to what women saw in us in the first place.
So were kind, affectionate and polite, have a stable job/career and then a spark goes off in the back of a womans mind to say she has to change him into something else.
It could be a new career, it could be personal development but ladies all we see is you "TRYING TO DRIVE US INSANE".
If you don't like us as we are, date some other poor sod who want's to be driven around the bend and end up on Prozac.
Some men are quite happy being what they are, and they won't like being nagged to mow the lawn, paint the attick or build a bloody tree-house!

Not all women want to change who their man is just like not all men are dogs. If you truly love someone you love them for who they are...not just parts of them the whole package. Everyone can imporove themselves one way or another but it is up to the individual to choose what if anything they want to change about themselves. I think people change daily as a part of growing some of those chnages are good and some are not.
As for us nagging at you... I believe household chores should be shared so however you decide to divide it no one should be nagged at to do thier part we are both adults you have your responsability and I have mine, if we both do what we are supposed to there should be no nagging.... except about visiting the in laws.... but some things are just meant to be the way they are...

Well your making the mistake of thinking like a right minded sensible person!
I have to say most people are either inconsiderate, insincere or too lazy to keep up the performance for long.
Normally less than say 6 months, then they revert to slobs or bicker to get their way.
Far better to find someone like minded who isn't a raving nutcase!

But that works both ways. And when you find in 6 months they have changed to a bikering slob cut your losses and end it. Life is way to short to spend arguing over the little things that don't really matter, we need to spend our time enjoying eachother and all that life has to offer us. If we all tried to make the best of it most of the time we would all be a lot happier.

sbear: you forgot Italian women: Fathers don't believe there is a man on earth good enough for his little girl. Mothers want thier son in laws to be a replica of thier own spouse. Grandparents still think it's the 50's and the husband should go to work 6 days a week spend Sunday at church and then visiting the rest of the family, make enough money so that thier grandchilden can give them lots of greatgrandchildren which can visit them all week long since thier mom should not have to work since her husband works 6 days a week.

If you want to know what an Italian Girlfriend will be like when shes a little older look at her mum!
If her mum looks like a bowling ball with arms and swears a lot and looks at you like shes just waiting to cut your balls off then beware.
On the other hand if she looks like Monica Bellucci propose fast!
A lot of English women are terrible i have to say!! Some dress like they fell out of a charity shop, eat like slobs and cant behave in even the most simple social occasion!
Foreign women tend to be more interested in Culture, or anything other than shoe shopping, donuts and alcohol!

NEVER EVER settle!!! I found a like minded soul once and I believe if I meant to I will again.
I have no problem being single I actually enjoy it quite a bit. I have my new puppy now and I am very happy with the life that I madde for myself. Good job, great friends, family is close by and my pup... Life is good.
