I don't believe in love at first site for myself but it might work for others. Some guy I was chatting with earlier today told me he loved me 5 minutes into the conversation. I told him he couldn't possible be in love with me after 5 minutes. He kept insitsting that he loved me so I humored him for a little longer before saying good-bye. Now lust at first sight, I know a little about that...

It chooses who it wants....hits where it pleases....and just as equally leaves when it decides to do so......

Same here, and it lasted 17 years. And it will happen again.

I used to believe in it, but now, after giving it some serious thought for some time. i dont. I think it is probably lust at first site.. In my opinion, you need to get to know someone to be in love with them..
i will never forget my loves at first site. 
O course, attraction, chemistry, and the love does develop, but mostly it's lust at first especially for men...

Yes, I do...it happened for my parents, 47 years ago. My dad was a pilot, my mom a stewardess, and she was looking over his shoulder at the crew for a flight that he was captain on. In mid-stroke of signing his name, without missing a beat, my dad slipped his arm around her, and asked her out when he was done signing. Six months later, they were married.
It hasn't always been perfect, but it's always been a strong marriage, and it's still solid and good. They've weathered some very hard things together, including miscarriages and burying a premature daughter, and even financial ruin after 9/11, and the loss of a business.
I give them credit for teaching me how to weather the bad times. They do it with strength and a positive attitude.

Changing the subject, I had to say hello to you. My mother was also a stewardess, most of my relatives worked for Varig, Brazilian airlines (pilots, stewards and stewardesses). What a nice coincidence. You and I probably grew up listening to similar stories.

We remained besotted for 25 years, and our (two) divorces, we married each other twice!
In fact, I would say that we are probably still in love with each other, but we cannot live together.....impossible!
Much water ubder the bridge, and partners for both of us since we split permanently, so definitely no going back, nor would either of us wish to.
However, I think we both realise that a love like that doesn´t come around a second time.
