I know I've been here before. I feel it, and I have glimpses of some of those past lives. Yes, I firmly believe in reincarnation, and that I'll be here again some day after this life is done.
Spirit is energy, and wasn't created, nor can it be destroyed.
With the Luck I am having,I am positive I robbed the Poor Box in one of my Past Lives! No,cycling a certain amount of Minds on this Planet would definitely make more sense than that One-Shot Deal of most Religions.
I can't say for sure. I don't disbelieve it though. I was once told that I used to be a gunslinger. Makes sense, as I thought about robbing a stagecoach the other day.

Yes, I was regressed only to find out I was a Palestinian Nomad. I certainly made sense toward this life. Heck, I thought I was at least a famous criminal.
SensualVixen: Yes. In my past life I was an outspoken, highly opinionated, outgoing, jovial male with 10 inches.
I'm not sure whether I believe or not, but one thing I do believe is that no one can remember their past life. Okay, so you have felt like you've been somewhere before, I get it..but don't tell me you can remember who you were in a former life.

Yes I always thought it was a goofy concept until I let go of my Christianity a couple of years ago and opened up to other possibilities. Plus I had an experience that convinced me that it is possible at least.

Who would want to be born over and over again in this life, to learn "lessons" you don't remember in the next? Or are we remembering this "subconsciously"?
It just doesn't make sense to me. If I am going to be reborn over and over until I "learn it all", at least give me a clue where I am in my personal evolution, lol.

"Keep me free from birth".

It isn't a matter of learning lessons, but learning to change habits that we accumulate. Karma is nothing but an accumulation of causes and effects held in a spirit storage unit. The reason we don't have memories of our past lives is memory is an aspect of form, while karma is an aspect of energy.
Whether we believe we have these causes or not, they manifest in our lives. That's why "bad" things happen to "good" people. That's why we continue to sabotage our own lives, and define our lives through suffering rather than happiness.
Angels can fly because they travel light, not because they have wings.

Good poll, wish more people would join. When I was studying these subjects (the world religions) I read that 25% of all the people in the Western world believe in reincarnation. Even that is a good score. I can't think how one could NOT believe in it, LOL. It's so logical!

I strongly recommend this article, I think it explains karma in a simple fashion:

Reincarnation. Hmmm...now there's a thought.
...it's a bit like the universe trying to be environmentally friendly, and recycling the souls/spirits.

Conrad73: There might be a reason why we don't remember, can't learn new Lessons by Living in the Past.
Oh yes, I agree. There's got to be a good reason for everything. We'd be both overwhelmed and too attached to the past... most of the time. Though some people report remembering this and that.
