There was no country there though Aspen. Palestine and Israel were never a country - ever. It was not until the UN provided the legal basis for those two countries to exist did they exist even on a sheet of paper. Israelis accepted this opportunity and Palestinians refused. And then, rather than live in peace alongside each other, the Palestinians joined in with their Arab friends and tried to kill every Israeli there, even though the Israelis were living on their own land. In order to do the job better, the Palestinians obeyed the Mufti and left their homes with the idea that there would be a mass killing of Jews and then, once over, they could return and have it all. And to this day, this is still their plan and why they will not accept Israel's right to exist.
Not very nice at all are they?
