Although it might be difficult to disqualify Trump even if he becomes a convicted felon, campaigning while incarcerated has it's limitations.
Whilst convicted felons have run for office, no convicted felon has ever won.
Why would the republican party take the risk of backing Trump given the current circumstances?
And isn't it slightly bonkers that a convicted felon in the US, even a currently incarcerated one, can in theory become president, but in only two states and the District of Columbia can an incarcerated person vote for a president?
When you get to the stage when a 'god' comes across as emotionally immature at best and a genocidal maniac at worst, it's time to re-evaluate the way you conceptualise the thing that's bigger than you, but you can't quite put your finger on.
If they have already been frozen, but the packaging says they can be frozen at home, the food has been treated under very specific conditions that have been lab tested for safety.
It's not the same as freezing twice at home in uncontrolled, unmonitored conditions.
I can see how it's not worth the physical health risk as you said, but getting stressed everytime someone sinks their choppers into food you're not confident about is unhealthy too.
I think it's E.coli where a piece of raw meat with three organisms left at room temperature for 10 minutes can develop enough multiplying microbes to severely injure, or kill.
It doesn't happen very often, but you can't tell by looking at it, or sniffing it.
We had an outbreak of E.coli here about 20 years ago which started in a school kitchen and then spread like wildfire from one small child to another throughout the county. One wee lad died, many were hospitalised in intensive care units.
Bear in mind that even if the top millimeter layer of raw meat has defrosted and is then re-frozen, pathogens have the opportunity to multiply.
It depends on the food and what temperature it got to.
If none of it thawed at all, you're fine.
If there was some thawing/warming, but you don't know what temperature it raised to, it gets a bit more complicated.
Low risk foods like vegetables and bread are unlikely to cause any problems as long as meat (particularly raw) juices haven't dripped on them. You might find re-freezing bread and veg reduces their quality, but they won't kill you.
It's really not a god idea to re-freeze raw meat if there has been even the slightest bit of thawing on the outside. You can however, defrost the raw meat in the fridge, cook it and re-freeze it safely.
Cooked meat shouldn't be re-frozen if there was any sign of thawing.
It's irrelevant whether Ginni Thomas did anything wrong, or not.
She has been implicated in the events of January 6th, Trump publicly praised her recently at a rally and she has signed a letter to House Republicans calling for the expulsion of Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for joininng the January 6th Committee.
At the same time, Trump appealed to the Supreme Court regarding the Mar a Lago documents case which went directly to Ginni Thomas's husband because Clarence Thomas has jurisdiction over the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals which issued the ruling that Trump appealed.
This means there is a conflict of interest for Clarence Thomas, that things going on with his wife could effect his decision making processes where Trump is concerned. Regardless of whether Trump did anythng wrong, or not, he is entitled to be fairly heard by the justice system and that can't be guaranteed if there is a conflict of interest.
It's the fact that Clarence Thomas didn't recuse himself, didn't say, "I can't make a judgement about Trump's appeal because it would be unfair to him under the circumstances" undermines the integrity of the justice system.
I think it's irrelevant whether he can remain professional and unbiased, or not.
The point is that he should have recused himself to avoid undermining any legal procedings for, or against Trump.
The fact that he hasn't as yet undermines not only his personal integrity, but the integrity of institution that he represents.
The question for me is whether it's already too late to recuse himself and end his marriage, or whether he needs to resign in the best interests of the nation.
Catholic mass in Latin had just gone out of mode in England in 1957 when my parents were married.
They wanted the mass in Latin so they could both understand what was going on, but were refused. As my mum didn't speak any English, my dad had to nudge her in the ribs with his elbow to let her know when to say, "I do".
I'm not sure how they came to this arrangement because my dad didn't speak German at the time. I imagine he nerdily evoked the powers of a Cassell's dictionary, or two.
Political bias was covered by Dr.Lee in the video with her assessment.
I just interpreted the video by pointing out the kind of criteria she was cvertly and subtly referring to.
My input isn't politically biased in a bipartisan way: I think the democratic(ish) systems that we have, especially in the US where so much power is at stake, have innumerable faults. One of them would be that nation/world leader positions inherently attract psychlogically/behaviourally irregular people who err on the side of personality disorder traits.
Trump is just a particularly extreme and obviously concerning one.
RE: Still keeping it off......
You look really healthy and lovely. Well done.
