I'm not sure if the nurse aspirated the syringe, but judging by the discomfort in my shoulder and armpits, he well and truly got the vaccine into muscle tissue.
It's extremely unlikely that I have a low platelet count and I don't take any medication which increases my risk of blood clots.
Bear in mind, all medications have risks and there's no guarantee that issues won't be indentified with the other brands as the vaccination programme continues.
Freewill is not the same as opportunity as we know from a lack of equal opportunities.
We still have an element of freewill with respect to how we manage a lack of opportunity, for example we can die with dignity, or go kicking and screaming.
The actions have been slightly different in Wales than England, but neither country has been calling Covid 'flu, nor acting as if it is.
Given how many people have been ill and died in the UK, not to mention all the other health and economic ramifications of how it's been handled, I don't see why any country would want to follow our steps, other than to avoid our mistakes.
Furthermore, whilst there are commonly 'flu-like symptoms, it's surely clear by now that Covid is so much more than that? Saying it's 'flu is like saying you heard a note, therefore the tune it came from doesn't exist.
I don't quite get comparing Sidney Powell's protections as equal to that of journalists owing to the fact that she's not a journalist.
Her perceived authority and credibility as a lawyer will have placed her in a more powerful position to influence.
Also, saying that only an unreasonable person would believe her allegations, but stating she believes them herself is an admission that she acted unreasonably. Isn't that what the lawsuit is about?
It doesn't appear to meet the narrow critera for insanity, nor do the circumstances. It just says her actions were unjustified.
If her actions cannot be justified and can be shown to have caused harm, then isn't she liable for that harm?
Historically, the High Street and the department store evolved through promoting the 'shopping experience' specifically to women.
It catered to the Victorian idea of recreation where women could browse, purchase, take refreshments, see and be seen.
In the UK there is a culture of shopping at weekends and on holidays, whereas on the mainland continent leisure time focuses on other activities. On Bank Holidays in the UK, leisure centres and sports facilities tend to close and not many people go out into the countryside.
Either the High Street will return in some form, or we Brits will learn to embrace alternative experiences beyond consumerism.
Personally, I cannot abide by shopping and would rather spend my leisure time hill walking. Having said that, I can't imagine trying to purchase some products like fabrics, threads and other tailoring notions without seeing the items in daylight.
Maybe life will shift, rather than irrecovably change beyond recognition.
My cheapest option at the moment is entirely wind farmed power.
I should think so, too.
I can see 37 windmills on the mountain opposite my flat and there are so many wind farms around here I've been known to lose my bearings when out on the mountains.
They should be colour coded so I can navigate my way home.
In built up areas, single windmills are often painted like daffodils. I like the idea of a different flower bed on each mountain.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
“There are always a few such people who demand the utmost of life and yet cannot come to terms with its stupidity and crudeness.” ~ Hermann Hesse, Steppenwolf
What gluten free pasta do you use? I like brown rice pasta, but I've been finding it dfficult and costly to get hold of during the pandemic. I find corn pasta cooks unevenly and lentil pasta to strongly flavoured to go with anything much.
RE: Hi! I got the vaccine yesterday, and...
It's the thought that counts, eh, not the the thing I left in her fridge that looked like a steak and kidney pie left over from WWII?
