I've encountered a number of interesting characters here, some with whom I communicate off site and others on site. I love these interactions. Just as in real life, each of these contacts(friendships) are different and fulfil a different role in my life. I appreciate them all for their individuality

The other side to telling the truth is being painfully honest.

Sometimes it is also necessary to keep quiet. I like the quote "If you have nothing good to say, I'd thank you to be quiet."

Having said that, while I do try to be tactful, I have reached a point where I would much rather be honest, without the frills.

The "unscrupulous ones" have put me off the use of yahoo, but I do utilize skype. it does allow for a much easier flow of conversation, so it makes it easier to get to know people better.

It definitely has its advantages, still prefer a face to face though.
