Oldeguy, I work using the internet and am quite happy with my security settings and systems, The biggest culprits for tracking us are mobile apps, I dont use many, I have ad blockers and never save passwords or usernames online, but I'm still being followed by algorithms via google and others, its a part of life.
Having a smartphone's GPS disabled is a good idea too, recently I took a pic at a coffee bar and google maps added it to the map data, Lucky they asked me to confirm it first.
