1to1to1, Yes some subjects should be spoken about in hushed voices, but Its human nature, we end up wanting to slap someone.

Coffee purchases are very political, Im just back from my afternoon session and mine were free, someone probably wants something from me, but all they will get is a coffee and or stern look.

ChesneyChrist, You do realise the blog is tongue and cheek?, You say that people like me have lived a privileged life, Ive worked and paid my taxes and national insurance, Ive never been unemployed and have been at both ends of the spectrum where wealth is concerned, Its the young who feel entitled to everything for free.

Morning Biffy, That's correct, and although not very democratic in the beginning citizens were grouped by location rather than wealth, Modern politicians do seem to all be wealthy or become wealthy very soon after taking office.

Recipes in reverse are creative, Perhaps post one thats missing ingredients or insert some wildly bizarre ingredients, for example:-

Healthy Scones

2 cups spelt flour
125g Butter
1 tsp salt
100g chickpeas in aspic
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup shredded sports socks

Naf I know, but you could do better than my attempt.

Biff, Molly and Mr X, I had planned on condensing Tolstoy's War and Peace into one paragraph, but CS isnt ready for a cultural injection, Perhaps a treatise on Hot dogs and how to eat furniture would be better, I may however do some ladybird kiddie books to get the politically obsessed into a safe space and easy to read comfort zone.

When I was a baby I was dragged out my cot by a huge female baboon spider, She took me into the middle of a mango tree where I lived with my spider brothers and sisters for a short while until I was found by the humans.
I still miss my spider mommy and her regurgitated crickets and small rodents, they were some very happy days.

Fully serviced room, 3 meals a day served on the finest porcelain with silver cutlery (Hallmark will be checked and verified), coffee brought to my chambers and you will read treasure island to me at bedtime (Egyption cotton and goose down bedding a requirement too) but apart from those stipulations Im easy.

Biffy, my upper gardens have a 120m long misting system, used to keep the plants lush and cool the area down, You can install one using garden misters and pipe for less than 20 euros.

I dont have pics but quite a few towns up here have covered streets, most with water misting systems to keep the cafe patrons cool.
