Btw..Costa calida means warm coast and it is in fact the hottest in Spain.
Too hot for me in the summer but lovely at this time of year...till June.

Actually...I've been here 4 1/2 years and wrote many blogs under my other name.
Fortunately...I saved them all and posted them again.

I know the feeling too well!

The annoying part is when old blogs are being revived and yours disappear.

Some have been about 3 to 5 years old and the bloggers don't even exist anymore!

I believe that subliminal messages are used in many ways....on TV for example during the commercials.

I also know of some meditation CDs that contain such messages to put in our subconscious while you're relaxed.

Now..how do we know what they're feeding our brains with?

Well Ash...most people see me as a leader as I'm the wise grandmother.

Ego boost? Maybe ..because some might have insecurity issues..

Boss over other women? May be not consciously.

Some people are natural Alphas and it's part of their personality...
Same as in a pack of wolves and other predators...

Or...in a herd of horses and other prey animals.

To tell you the truth..I've been a bit put off lately and can't really find any interesting blog to comment on where one can have some decent conversations.

And some blogs I keep away from for various reasons.

As for writing blogs...I have plenty in store but...finding the right time to post it is the question???

Lots of new people here...new avatars...fly by night ...I can't really be bothered to comment on.

Hi Bunny... Funny how you brought up this topic about time...
As it happens, last October I wrote a blog entitled "The Concept of Time" and, now again, we´re about to change our clocks tonight...
So, here we go...

I´d like to quote some of that blog (for those who haven´t read it), just to give you my views on this...

"Have you noticed that our concept of existence depends on this “time thing”?
Language is full of this, e.g. on time, in the nick of time, spare time, out of time, time heals all wounds, kill time and many more...
Every event in the past, present and future has already happened. We just happen to be travelling through the events on our own linear timescale.

It is said that EVERYTHING for us is already planned out and our destiny has already been decided, according to an astonishing theory which claims that time does not pass, but rather everything is ever-present.

Einstein once said; “Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.”


Seeing that time is not linear, but circular, everything is happening simultaneously - past, present and future.

Living with past memories - good & bad - stops you from living in the present as, ALL memories carry some energy and tie you to the past.
Same as having dreams or plans for the future, if we keep thinking about the future, it also stops you from living in the PRESENT and enjoying life as it is NOW and not what it used to be, or is likely to be... some time in the future.
