RE: What are friends for

Glad I made you laugh Lindsy.wink

However...my comment wasn't meant to be Funny. Sad story really.. As those online buddies don't seem to appreciate me.

Fortunately...my friends in the real world DO.

So...my way to look at it...as long as there's a balance..giving and taking isn't always from the same person.

As it is said.."we reap what we sow" regardless whether it's from the same source or not.
Karma?

Thanks anyway for your kind words lady..bouquet

RE: Dogs and fireworks / thunder / guns

I've never had any dogs frightened of any noise...regardless of the breed...because I desensatised them from when they were pups.

I agree with some of the comments...dogs will pick up the energy and emotions from their owners.
Not only must the owner stay and act calm...but also feel it.

When dealing with horses it's even more noticeable as they can feel your emotions as you get out of the car.

Horses sense and feel...and dogs smell someone who's nervous.

RE: What are friends for

I've had 2 online buddies for some time now.

One only talks about himself and never listens...mumbling
He's in a silent mode at the moment.

The other one actually LISTENS but doesn't talk much.

I suppose it restores the balance in a way.dunno

As for the real world...I've had 2 good friends..one woman and a man...both young and spiritual..whom I've known for years.
They both listen and are only a phone call away if I need them.

RE: The blog that wasn't about biscuits but looked like it was.

What about offering the alien a beer?

RE: friends with benefits

I have a few men friends but still waiting for the benefits? uh oh

RE: Would you?

I'm glad that Molly came up with her comment as I just couldn't be bothered to say all that.

She in fact says it all and it's also my opinion on your situation Johnny.

RE: Our first time & I fell asleep!

Just as a reminder...this should have been followed by another 3 or 4 consecutive treatments in order to get the full benefits.

The problem is ...most people feel good after one session and can't be bothered after that but...it doesn't work that way I'm afraid.scold

RE: I love to go a wandering.

Well..if you have the type of dog I have you'll be walking more than 20mn a day.!

He has 3 long walks a day...of 3 or 4 km each which takes about a total of 5 hours.
Luckily..I have a helper who takes him half the time.

So I don't need organised walks .as my dog has it all under control.applause

RE: I love to go a wandering.

Oh..was that the reason?

I do love spicy food though.smitten

As for my hiking adventures..I'm not a grouppie and prefer a one to one walk and explore places where no man has gone before .

In fact..I don't like anything organised unless I've organised it myself dancing

RE: I love to go a wandering.

All sounds very exciting and a lot of fun to me.head banger

Thanks for sharing this in so much detail Herb.. At least you've added a bit of spice to it.applause

RE: The Invitation

Well.... what a lovely romantic story..smitten Hope it all works out for you.

Do you think that the session you had has anything to do with it and has opened your heart chakra?
Whatever it is, it seems to be working...wink

Yes, I thought I would share the other poem too because it is from the book "The Dance" which I was given to me many years ago.
And, further to this, it also inspired me to write some more verses about 6 years ago (which you will find in the poetry section).

RE: A sad tale, indeed.

Watch this space and prepare for the journey. transport

RE: A sad tale, indeed.

That´s ok Herb, I also like this kind of "poetry" , or philosophy and I do happen to know who Lewis Carroll was and Alice´s adventures in Wonderland.

In fact, I wanted to go even deeper into that - into Quantum Physics even! - and write a blog about it.

RE: A sad tale, indeed.

Hello Herb, Iovely story. smitten

I thought you were not into this kind of stuff? Or... did you suddenly have this outburst of inspiration?wink

RE: The Invitation

I see my favourite poem is here wow smitten

Not only did I write one verse on my profile...But I also got inspired to write my own verses in the poetry corner.

I take it you posted this for someOne special? wink

From my own experience I have found this poem too deep for most men here...
Only 2 so far have quoted the one I put in my profile ....and we're touched by it.

RE: Mystical Experience - The Interconnection of Everything: Spiritual versus Religious

Hi BS, long time no see! applause

"Dance around a ring"? that sounds familiar... ummm... I also like to dance around a bonfire, with the sound of drums....smitten

RE: Mystical Experience - The Interconnection of Everything: Spiritual versus Religious

Of course, what Swami says here makes a lot of sense. thumbs up

Maybe I´ve also reached the stage 4? dunno

RE: Whats app

Track... shall I send you an invite? comfort

RE: Mystical Experience - The Interconnection of Everything: Spiritual versus Religious

Very nicely said Socrates.

Like Ash says...you could almost feel what you described here. smitten

That's my description of being spiritual..to be at one with nature and be aware of all our surroundings.

Unfortunately..many seem to have forgotten how to connect as they take so many things for granted.

RE: Shame on Taiji - Shame on $eaworld

Hola lovely lady with a heart of gold.
We need more people like you in order to protect those wonderful creatures. hug

Here´s another picture taken on the same boat trip.

A group of pilot whales came near the boat and the captain actually called one by whistling and managed to touch its head.
Then the others also came near with a mother and her baby.
