Horses? You would think they do need a lot but apparently not...not more than for an adult. I also mix ginger with it and some oil. At first he used to it separate from his food but now I need to mix it but it's not so effective.

I know I haven´t been so active on the blogs lately - only because I can´t find anything interesting to comment on or, my topics might not be appropriate for the audience? But, I´ve been quite active on the forums which are a bit more fun, at times.
Talking about celebrities in their 80s.... I´ve been watching the talent contest "La Voz Senior" lately, which is for people over 60. Well, I´ve been quite amazed by some of the singers, well over 70, who have very powerful voices and also play some instrument to accompany themselves. Of course, they have been singing all their life and some are even professional singers. But.... they haven´t lost it, on the contrary!
As for myself, I am still caring for the horses, when the weather is not too hot... And I´m very active with my piano tutorials, to which I dedicate between 1 and 2 hours a day.
As for the shamans..they lived in a world without science...but instinctively tried to live in harmony with the earth. They could see the sun moon and stars etc..and had the intelligence to realise that there was something beyond their understanding going on. Their rituals and beliefs were a way of approaching an understanding of what it was all about.
With no written language..All their knowledge and wisdom were handed down verbally through the bloodline of the shamans.
The conquistador willfully made every effort to destroy this link to pass knowledge ...possibly for fear that it was better than their own?
Please note that I'm referring to the south American shamans here as they're the ones I acquired the healing techniques from.
I agree with the first part of your comment but...the "alternative" that you seek is ...if one is prepared to live outside a rigid framework supplied by others...then one must become a "free radical" and beat your own path.
Not an easy thing to do and will not be favoured by many???
