Biden looks toast though. He's been a disaster on the campaign trail, routinely forgetting things and mixing things up. His fundraising is behind that of the other top candidates too. Not to mention what has been brought to light with his son benefiting to the tune of $millions on the back of his vice presidency, and Joe bragging about withholding over a billion in aid to Ukraine until the prosecutor (who was investigating the company his son was getting all the money from) was fired. Don't be surprised to see the 'establishment' ditch Joe and put their money and influence behind someone else - possibly Buttiegeg given he's the next most popular in terms of a more moderate candidate (compared to Sanders and Warren at least).
Jimnastics don't be a disingenuous liar. When there is no reason to state a person's gender or race, when you then make a point to state it, it is obvious it is done with malicious intent. As the lady herself itself acknowledged, people in media are using the same shameful identity politics language of division. Which in no way excuses her from doing likewise. Have a good evening.
Trump has lost billions since he decided to run for president. The easiest thing in the world would have been for him to drop out and enjoy his retirement at his multiple lush properties. But he didn't. He wanted to serve. Meanwhile, career politicians, many of whom arrived in Washington with very little, are now multi-millionaires.
Jim it's unbelievable the demeaning and condescending language you use to describe anyone who voted for Trump. I'm convinced you're trying to get him re-elected. You're like Hilary's 'basket of deplorables' comment times 1,000
Democrats are raging because Trump was eager to have corruption in Ukraine - involving Democrats - come to light You know how the saying goes, if you've done nothing wrong, you've nothing to fear Americans absolutely have a right to know if Americans have been involved in corrupt activities - quid pro quos(quiproJOE) or foreign interference in American elections Democrats know they are dead guilty so they are trying to frame Trump when he is simply doing his job - as the chief law enforcement officer of the land - to root out and expose corruption. It's called draining the swamp
Trump is entitled to expect Ukrainian cooperation when it comes to 2016 election interference
Unhinged lunatics were demanding transparency and cooperation when it came to Muellers fabricated witch hunt, remember? Democrats are simply going on the attack and trying to sell a narrative because they're terrified of what's coming with Barr/Durham investigations. And terrified they should be. Because the truth will come out for all to see. That Democrats were guilty of everything they were accusing Trump of all along
Many were under the (false) impression that Trump was in cahoots with Russia when the 2018 midterms took place. Now many know better and are realizing that the criminality happened on the other side. Mueller was in a position to exonerate Trump of the erroneous collusion charge ahead of those midterms by the way... the fact he didn't is a clear indication of election interference.
That and many other reasons - including the latest Democrat charge of impeachment - is why Repubs should win big in 2020.
Jim, you're not getting it. And i actually can't believe you're not. It's SO simple. McConnell wants Dems to go full steam down the impeachment road, not because of animus he has towards Trump, but because he senses it would be disastrous for Dems in 2020 and beyond, and beneficial to Repubs.
Jim, let's not pretend for a second that we don't know why McConnell said what he said. He's savvy. He'd happily see Democrats go full steam down the impeachment road.
I guess i've wondered is there some meaning? Like a message? I mean skies like in my life i've never experienced, maybe it's just as a result of changing climate, but at times i've wondered if they are a symbol
Serious question: wherever you are in the world, have you noticed a particular change in the skies? I mean, not so much recently actually, but last year especially for me, there were the most spectacular skies i have ever experienced, particularly of late evening early night, lots of pink, just beautiful, fleeting.
There definitely is a doomsdayer vibe to the whole thing. AOC and others shamelessly trying to profiteer off fear mongering. 'The world will end in 12 years' - MY ÁSS
There are of course people with good intentions, but the problem is the loudest voices are those advocating for radical government intervention, which would be a disaster in my opinion. Look what a rise in fuel tax led to in France - the yellow vest movement. There's no way most people are going to accept huge increases in tax forced upon by a government who tell you "oh, it's okay, we're saving the planet". Not a chance. And the thing is i'm not against environmentalism, far from it, but in order for things to be a success, it has to be led by regular citizens, with minimal government interference. A re-dedication to tree planting. Encouraging people to make a difference through our individual actions and lifestyle. We are the consumer after all. How we consume dictates what companies produce.
