Only 10 weeks into 'president' houmous brain's tenure and the border is already significantly worse than at any time under Trump. I suppose when you encourage illegals to surge the border (as houmous brain did in a Democrat Primary debate), people are actually going to listen and then take action. Many thousands coming in through Texas - part of Democrats' plans to turn Texas blue? Probably. But in any case, an unmitigated disaster.
A point of real concern is how the virus will adapt to the introduction of vaccines. Whereas if no vaccines had been produced, yes there would be some additional short-term damage (though not so much, as the virus has already done the vast amount of its damage, I think we can agree on this), but at the same time herd immunity would be reached sooner rather than later. The existence of vaccines, on the other hand, may result in the virus adapting and changing into more dangerous forms, which ultimately may end up being with us longer than if we'd just allowed herd immunity to be met and forgot about vaccines. Unchartered territory. I won't be taking the vaccine myself, but much like Mic I'm pro medical freedom - I encourage people to educate themselves and make the decision they think is best for them
