Merc, perhaps educate yourself first and visit my blog on voter fraud, there's plenty of cases where Democrats have been implicated in and charged for voter fraud. I've always maintained the issue is to keep elections as secure as possible. What Democrats push for makes them LESS secure.

Also, I'm not sure if you looked at the Twitter link I initially posted - it seems to show a love for anarchy/Antifa(far left) and no love for Donald Trump among some of the people involved. At best there was a mixture of ideologies involved. So to try and politicise as Whitmer and Biden immediately did was grossly irresponsible. The important thing is that any plot was thwarted.

Sounds like a bunch of idiots and if it can be proven they were seriously planning what is being alleged then they should be charged accordingly. Whitmer is a psycho power-obsessed tyrant, but the way you deal with that is at the ballot box (or via petitioning to get her recalled), not by illegitimate kidnapping schemes or any such BS. Oh, and I didn't see any mention of the political affiliation of the accused individuals, so perhaps the O.P. might reconsider the hyperbolic blog title.
Yes it's arbitrary. Why did they allow the VP debate to go ahead as normal yesterday then today announce this for the main debate? It's complete nonsense. I strongly suspect Team Biden colluded with the 'Commission' to make this announcement. Biden got beat in the first debate, despite smarmy Chris Wallace's best attempts to help him. And God knows what drugs they had to pump into Joe just to get him through that first debate (Team Joe declined a pre-debate drug test, remember, unlike Team Trump).
A virtual debate is ridiculous. Neither candidate was consulted - apparently. But I wouldn't be surprised if the debates commission did it on request from Team Biden. We've already seen the people they chose to moderate (including the next moderator who previously interned for Senator Biden). The fix is in with these crooks. Trump is right to not go along with the fiasco. The debate conditions and rules were agreed upon. Arbitrarily changing them like this is completely unacceptable. Debate in person as agreed (put Biden in a protective bubble for all I care) or take a long walk off a short pier.
Joe Biden's Town Hall event on NBC News had 2 "undecided voters" ask questions of Biden. Except it seems the 2 people in question weren't undecided at all and had in fact expressed their support for Biden on an MSNBC segment back in August.
