Can't speak Spanish, but had to learn French before I came out here, I did a 3 year course before coming and stuck sticky labels to everything in the house in french. Since being here various courses but the best thing I have found is totally integrating with the French and rarely speaking to the english. I have learnt far more this way and been given the friendship of the locals. I'll never be perfect but at least it's fun. An even better way is to get a Spanish boyfriend you'll learn very quickly.

Light at the end of the tunnel it's a bank holiday tomorrow, shops shut so no catastrophe there, mower still not working so I can't fall of it, roof done by friends so I can't fall of that.
