I took a drive to Birmingham airport and the car park for short stay was almost full, so flights are picking up too.
Sadly the Philippines is still closed, maybe by Christmas it will reopen as now starvation deaths are more than Covid deaths.

COVID-19 infections are decreasing in Spain, with 1,895 new infections reported on average each day. That’s 5% of the peak — the highest daily average reported on January 26.
There have been 4,967,200 infections and 86,621 coronavirus-related deaths reported in the country since the pandemic began.
Vaccination Spain has administered at least 70,243,260 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 74.6% of the country’s population.
Seeing as most over 65 have been vaccinated, it would be a logical conclusion that those with Covid would be vaccinated, however, the numbers are far far fewer than had the majority not been vaccinated.

Long time ago I taught Engineers how to fix super mini computers around the world, in Bloomington, Minnesota, the HQ for the company I worked for at that time, designers were trying to develop organic computers, to "grow" them so to speak, that terrified me and I got out of that business as did that company later thank goodness.

Personally, I would love to go back to nature, I could happily live without any IT/phone, although electricity from solar or wind would be useful.

In a city in the UK the city council decided to install a diesel generator in the main car park for re-charging electric cars, they gleefully explained that it took ONLY 8 litres of diesel to fully charge a Tesla.

Then there is snow, in the UK 2cm of snow brings the entire country to a halt, so what does the government intend to do when there is an accident on a motorway, creating a massive tailback, all having their heaters on full blast? Will they be lining all motorways with diesel gennys to keep cars/trucks charged up?
That electric is the way forward is in no doubt, but to think it can happen in the next ten years is fanciful, hydrogen powered cars will be coming forward long before electric cars are worth all the hassle.
To ban diesel is just the governments trying to sound as if they care about climate change without thinking about the realities electric vehicles will bring when the weather etc causes problems.

I don't remember ever saying such and if I did it certainly would not have been with regards to the deaths, more to his mishandling of a pandemic. You ask if I am happy with 700,000 dead, of curse I am not happy even 70,000 or 7000 is too many. But had Trump remained in power there is no doubt in my mind that over 1 million would have succumbed to the virus by now as he just didn't care and refused to follow sensible medical adivice.

VAERS is a prime example where the anti-vaxxers are taking all deaths reported to imply they are vaccine-related when the truth is no one yet knows if there is any correlation between deaths and the vaccine.
Evidence shows the vaccine is extremely safe with a tiny number of less than 0.03% of deaths being actually attributed to the vaccine.
One needs to question just why Anti-vaccine people are so vocal and why they can only post disinformation using sources known to publish lies and misinformation, never once posting information from credible sources. They are certainly not posting to be helpful that's for sure.
