I am an animal lover. A month ago, I wrote a short story titled, "Removed From Yesterday." I may finally post it here next week.. it is about, are dreams reality or is reality a dream.. but it is also about how a deer hunter gets the tables turned on him, and he becomes the hunted.. the story kind of twists here and there.. but that's the basic message in it.
I actually think that people now care more for animals than in the past, because I know that the sale of hunter's licenses has dropped. However, the media will try to bring more and more attention to the care of animals, by exposing more cruelty cases around the world.
Personally, I would not categorize or group women as only Asian women being more alluring than others. I think all women of all cultures, countries, hair color, eye color, skin color and so on, are all alluring and beautiful in their own ways. It's not just one certain group or race or such, it's something about each individual that makes them alluring toward someone else.
Perhaps YOU personally, find yourself favoring Asian women more, and that's great for you. But again, I think all women, including Asian, have alluring and beautiful qualities, and I believe women may also find many men who have alluring qualities.. but again, it comes back to each individual and their preferences and likes. I've also learned that likes and preferences can change over the years as well. But most of all, I believe it's the heart and soul of each person that can be the most beautiful quality.
You're not a weirdo. The heck with what negative thinkers may say. From what I've seen from your blogs, you're a cool fun guy. Keep on living YOUR life the way YOU want to.
Simmo and I were once really good friends. There was a time he lent me some kind words and advice when I was going through a difficult situation, and I thanked him for that. There was a time when we joked a lot, when I added him in some of my stories and we just got along really well.
It's very sad to hear of his passing now, which I consider too soon and at too young of an age.
Because we never know what day will be our last, I ask everyone to please somehow find it in your hearts and souls to forgive each other, to put aside differences, drama, grudges and all such trivial things that can be overcome, and please try to get along with each other. For everyone of you is a blessing to this earth, to this life, to your family, loved ones and to each other. It is love and friendship that is most important during our lifetimes.
I'll remember Simmo for the good times we once shared, and the great goodness that truly radiated from within him outward and touched many people in a positive way.
May God bless him, May he rest in peace. I most certainly and most definitely will say a prayer for him, for his family and loved ones in this difficult time.
Simmo, I salute you, your life and the good man I know you always truly were. May God bless you and may peace be with you forevermore.
Ekself hit the nail on the head. It's what we settle for. Step back, evaluate, get more information on what you wish to do, get mutually helpful contacts, think it over and make a choice to work smarter, not so much harder. It's in knowledge that each person can arise financially or for their own betterment in whatever ways, and often higher than of those that once employed them.
Oh, this is interesting Johnny. Reading chapter 5 of the birds and the bees book, I now see what a canister vacuum cleaner hose can do for a guy. Yikes! I learn something new every 7 years.
And why is it that when you take an anxiety pill or some kind of pill to relax you.. IT suddenly goes limp.. doesn't want to stand to attention? I just cannot figure why that happens. DARN IT!
And Johnny, so what's wrong with being a psycho path? Being sane is over-rated. Why, I was a CEO to a big company, and also a doctor and a lawyer at one time..
Nothing wrong with that. I've come to learn, not to worry about what other's can do to us, but what can WE DO for ourselves... and how we react and handle things is most important in keeping our sense of humor and insanity! Yeah!
Do you remember seeing that movie Animal House? Do you remember that part where that guy was playing guitar on the stairs of the Frat House.. when suddenly John Belushi couldn't take that song anymore and he pulled the guy's guitar away and smashed it all up against the walls and banister? lol
Well, unfortunately, that's how I feel about that song American Pie.. I understand it's more lyrical, but sheesh, it's just toooo long and boring for me. I gotta change the radio station whenever I hear it.. or I feel like doing a John Belushi.. pulling out the radio and busting it up!
Hey, so what's so wrong with chaos? You know, no chaos is overrated.. Chaos is what gives us challenges and fun, Yeah!
Oh well, I'm tired of so much chaos today, so I gotta go back to reading that birds and bees book, still trying to figure out the Rocking Chair position and the other thing they say couples can do with a flour sifter.
I join in with you on this salute. My father was a USA Army Soldier in WWII. He is now 91 with some dementia that keeps getting worse. His brother was also in WWII, and other relatives of mine were in the military service since.
A big THANK YOU and a grand salute to all who have served, passed away and to all those who are still active in serving today. We are all blessed to have had them there for us, and for having the present military men and women there for us too.
Some lady you dated last year is looking for you. She called me asking about your whereabouts. I told her, I didn't know where you were. Never even heard of you. lol
She's trying to get you to go on the Maury Povich show. She's claiming that YOU ARE THE FATHER!
Johnny, very interesting blog here. I'm interested in reading what others say about this. As for me, I don't quite understand what all this is about yet. I'm only at chapter 2 of the book, the birds and the bees. So, I'll know more when I'm done reading it.
Have a good night, and again, it'll be interesting to read what others say on this blog subject.
RE: Men ! Can't live with them...
