But say the court throws out TSA pat downs and scanner, is not our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness been put at grave risk?

Jesse's and the other law suits are going to run into legal trouble here is my thinking. Courts are not going to want to reduce aircraft/airport security when you have Moscow's main airport getting hit with a terrorist attack.
Saying that Jesse is using the opportunity to get public exposure on a unpopular issue. Later if he choose to run for the MN Senate....that is votes.
There are two ways politicians gets popular support..one by lifting and promoting a popular issue. The other by attacking a unpopular issue.
In this case Jesse sues the TSA....joining the 1000s that don't like the TSA pat down procedures....and becomes their collective 'spokesperson'. All the more future media exposures and votes....
When Obama spoke on healthcare....he was lifting a popular issue. And he got popular support in doing so. Ventura now is legally condemning the TSA on patdowns. He will get popular support of those that feel the same.
Do I agree with the TSA pat downs? No. And Jesse is right, they are intrusive. And he has every right to file a suit. Just saying that he also is a politician.....and political advertisement for votes is not above any of them.
