Dylan said of the song, every line could be a title for a song in itself, but he didn't think he'd have time to write them all. He certainly has written plenty since then.
I'm missing my trips to North Wales this year, normally spend a lot of time there when the weather's good. Went to the coast for a bike ride yesterday along The Wirral Way by the River Dee estuary to the coast. Very hot, 30C but very pleasant cycling along the beaches on the way back, lovely sea breeze. Not quite North Wales even though you can see N Wales clearly from that side of the Wirral. Hopefully Wales will be opening up in a couple of weeks, just need the weather to stay good.
Karen Robson, of Action on Hearing Loss, said: "We're hearing a lot of concerns from the deaf community and those with hearing loss.
"Many people who are deaf or have hearing loss rely heavily on visual cues for effective communication, including facial expressions and lip-reading.
"Being able to see lip patterns and facial expressions is also vital for those who communicate through British Sign Language."
Words which sound similar but have different meanings can become difficult to distinguish.
"Many of these people will be unavoidably impeded by face coverings," Ms Robson said.
"This has the potential to create further isolation amongst an already marginalised community of people, causing additional stress and anxiety to people at an already very difficult time."
Spare a thought for deaf people during this time. There are estimated to be about 9 million deaf and hard of hearing adults in the UK alone, that is about 18% of the total population. About 640,000 of these are profoundly or severely deaf who mainly rely on lipreading to be able to communicate.
It's sometimes a good exercise to explore how you're feeling but not necessarily on an emotional level. We usually take our 'feeling sense' for granted, even though it can be beneficial to sit quietly with it for a short while now and again.
Same on building sites here Merc. Quite clearly some women feel uneasy when some greasy fat bricklayer whistles at them. Nor exactly a crime, although it does say more about the whistler than the whistled at.
This should be a thread to celebrate the difference one young man can make to so many. Due to his selfless actions, literally tens of thousands of struggling families will benefit.
This is a good news story....in case some haven't noticed.
Coming from what was once the largest council estate in Europe, Wythenshawe, Marcus would certainly have experienced a relatively deprived childhood. It's so refreshing to see a young person rise out of such a situation to become richer than he could ever imagined, yet still care about those much less fortunate than himself and show that by his selfless actions.
I'm not sure though why the fact that he's of black origin has to be even been mentioned, let alone been made an issue. He's a remarkable young man from a Manchester overspill council estate who clearly cares for those less well off than he now is. Race has nothing to do with it.
I really believe a lot of this 'outpouring' has its roots in the pent up frustrations created by the covid lockdown and the fears associated with the pandemic. Clearly the backlash to this incident is way more than we would normally expect as shocking as the now well publicised video would seem to be. Ive seen it written that, when the reaction and actions by an individual to an incident are far more than what would be needed to deal with the said incident, it's usually a good sign that a complex has been activated. I wonder, has the incident activated collective complexes, fuelled by the frustrations built up over the last few months of fear and uncertainty.
There is some evidence that Jesus was in fact Buddhist and spent most of his life in India. The story tells of how he was taken to India and lived in Kashmir from the age of 13 to 29 where he studied Buddhism. He then returned to Jerusalem and became a prophet, interestingly this would explain the 'missing years, 13 to 24 when there is no record of him. The theory also claims he did not die by crucifixion but survived (there is also good evidence to support that) and returned to India where he lived till the age of 80. It is claimed he was laid to rest inRoza Bal shrine in Srinagar in Kashmir.
