Differing circumstances for each and every one determines whether they are single after 40, determines whether they have children at all. It does not makes them a loser or a winner. Dispense with the labels.
This is my second profile. My first profile I was known as carmengetme....and they did. I stirred up a few when I created a thread and in it I made complaints about the mods. The next time I went to log on, I found I had been locked out.
Was actually quite grateful because the profile name itself seemed to invite trouble.
I think there are a few on here unla with ongoing multiple profiles. Difficult to ascertain their true identity however. Mainly just prankster profiles. I could name a couple, but best not to. I have no proof....just strong intuition.
I hope you and your boy have a terrific 3 weeks in the sun. Just be mindful of putting plenty of sunblock on your son. You skin may be accustomed to the sun, but not his.
Here in NZ....our summer kicks in round end November(ish), sometimes prior and carries through to at least March, February being the hottest.
I had my children later in life, so more often than not, I find I am dating men who have grandchildren and have also dated men who have chosen not to have children.
My teenage daughter boards away from home full time, although I see her regularly and my son's care is shared 50/50 between his Dad and myself, so it has never been an issue as far as dating goes.....not that I am aware of, at least.
That was an isolated case, but just thought it was worth a mention on your thread, as an example of how Government Departments can and do get it wrong sometimes.
We are a small nation....but vocal enough not to allow anything too outrageous to occur, in the form of protesting, media coverage. We can apply pressure to politicians to instigate change......
It reminds me of the case in NZ where a jail breaker applied successfully to a Government run ACC(Accident Compensation Corporation designed to aid people with costs who have suffered injury through accident) when he broke his ankle scaling a fence in his attempt for freedom.
There was such outrage and public outcry regarding the case, ACC, had no choice but to revoke its decision.
It's been a tradition in our family over the generations to look after our elders.
That tradition is still ongoing regarding my own mother.
...and that's when I wish for it to stop, when I am no longer able to live independently. I do not wish to be become a burden for my own children. It's a decision I've already made and conveyed to the kids. I've been good to the kids so I hope they pick a good nursing home for me... All, I would ask is to see them occasionally and have regular phone contact just to stay "in touch".
RE: Single after 40
What a ridiculous question.Winners? Losers?
Differing circumstances for each and every one determines whether they are single after 40, determines whether they have children at all. It does not makes them a loser or a winner. Dispense with the labels.
You are very young. You have a lot to learn.
