Thank you for your eloquent way of putting it in perspective. I myself found the opening post offensive. Not just in an American way but on a personal level. I have been here for two years. And I had been warned about the op but I chose to believe it was a mistake that he was misunderstood. The post left no room for a joke and no room for thinking it was said for anything but maliciousness. I did not respond to the op for I have found I neither have to respect or like someone to be able to exist in a world with them. It is easy for people to point a finger it takes looking at themselves away and concentrating on others. I am not always right but I am not always wrong. I most likely should not but after all this time I almost feel like this web site is my home and I would not come in here and purposely disrespect anyone on here. It was not just my country that was disrespected it was also me. If people want to defend the actions of someone exhibiting that kind of behavior it is fine with me. I have broad shoulders, maybe others think it is ok to be that way. I do not. Maybe I need to rethink my behavior

We could make a whole a thread on the subject of if Obama was born in America or not. And I think there might of been a thread or two about that already. But I think the way she worded it she was just giving her opinion. And the way you worded it leads me to wonder were you there in the room at the time of his birth to witness it? Actually the place of birth holds very little water to me. I have known babies to be born abroad because their parents were on vacation and the little ones surprised them with an early arrival. My question would be where was one raised? So where one is born has very little merit in my opinion. If memory serves correctly Obama spent his most impressionable years of life from age three to ten living in Jakarta, Indonesia. But who knows the world is so full of lies and deceit. Sad

There has been war since the beginning of time. Before the United States was thought of. There will always be war. There have been atrocities in the history of mankind that just could not be settled by bringing the people a piece of fresh baked pie. My allegiance is to the USA and I do not feel I owe anyone an explanation or an apology. Other countries will never know the whole picture of what and why things are done here. To let them know would be stupid. Other countries sure do not let us know all their ins and outs. I for one thought Pakistan was a friend until I realized they were greasing their palms on both sides. I would love to see people get along in this world but we can't even get along on a website.

I heard of this quite some time back. And it makes no sense to me. The online apps can be a pain in the tush. I know that when I was looking for a job and did the online apps it just did not give me that face to face moment that you can sometimes use to sell your self to a potential employer because online limits what you can say. I was actually still working when I got the job I have been at the last three years and they were cutting back our hours and I knew that would not work for me. I did turn in a two weeks notice I did not want to burn that bridge in case I ever wanted to go back.

I love to sit out back in the evening and watch the sun go down. Reflect on my day. Maybe even think a little of the past and the future. And just be so glad for just the air I have to breathe. So as silly as it sounds I think gratitude is what makes me happy. When I am grateful I am at peace and content. I am so glad to be a little part of this great big picture

Me standing up a few months old maybe six or seven months. I have not felt good so I have lost a little weight since then but I should be back to the size I am in the pic in no time. The one with me and the hat on is maybe six weeks old.

I judge the success of my life on the type of person I have been. Though far from perfect I feel successful so far. I have been a good daughter, sister, mother, wife, citizen, friend. I am a productive worker I earn my money. I do slouch off. I strive to always be compassionate, loving, and strong. I always try to remember in a blink of an eye my whole life can change. So never think I am above anyone else. I told my husband on his death bed if he ever felt his life was not worth while to look at the love on my face, the children and the grandchildren. Success is not what someone can do for you but what you can do for someone else. I strive to be the best person I can be every day.

I lived on a road like that for years I think in the ten years I was there I only seen two cars that I did not know. And you are right it was news worthy. I had not thought about that till I read your post. Thank you for the memory. It was a happy time

With me it would depend on a lot of things. Given the right circumstances I might would do any or all of these that you have given for poll choices. I seen an old man walking down the road one day he fell and people kept going by I circled back to get to that side of the road. He was dehydrated and disoriented. Finially another car pulled over and soon there was a group of us and one had something to drink to offer him and one of the men said he would help him home. Now when I take that stretch of road and I see the old man taking his walk I wave to him but I worry he had fallen that day in the weeds. What if we all had kept going they might not of seen him to help him

Yes when there is a picture and not just the name and country it usually means the profile is not hidden. But thank you so much for checking. It was kind of you to take the time. I came on line for a few minutes to check something. I usually don't hide my profile

If the time stamp was correct the last one I noticed took place ten hours after I had hid my profile and while I was at work away from the computer. Maybe the time stamp is off.
