GotTrance: What would you do?
I'll give you the same answer I gave you on your other thread.I would call 911,give them the location and license plate, but no way would I stop and get out.I certainly would not let them in my car.
Being a biker I would stop and help anyone out at the side of the road as in the past I have been stuck there and others have helped me out so I see it as my thanks to them...

I wouldn't drive away. I'd stay locked in my car, headlights on her and call the police with the license number and mile post or street name. I know not everyone has a cell phone but the majority of people do and I'd be suspicious as to why she didn't call the police herself.
This is the case with me, as well, and back in the days of tye dye and folk music, people were easy going, or at least much more so than now. Still, in this day and age, there are so many ruses, false claims of urgency. It's just not worth dying for. Did you know the saddest part about the Ted Bundy case? He was so full of flair, so educated, so seemingly sophisticated, every one of his victims willingly got into the car with him. Our caring nature cannot trump good sense. JMO

Its in my nature to help people...I often stop my car if its pouring down and offer a lift.....one a young soldier hiking home, another an old lady with shopping.....often people look at me and think "whats her game" my sis thinks I am mad....but it is just me.....however,a desolate road, dark and with what I learnt about safety in South Africa....guess I would call the police from a safe distance and wait around till they arrived...I would not sleep thinking about it hadI done nothing.

Too true but sometimes a biker stopping has them diving back into their car as they all think we are Hell's Angels... as one lady I stopped to help did... when she realised I was there to help her out and I had taken my Crash hat off she settled down all it was was a flat tyre 20 minutes done and dusted...
