I was chatting to an ebay seller in Portland the other day go-tazz, he was telling me about the book eschange you have over there in Bentinck st. Sounds like I'll have to go there one day when I'm on one of my next trips around the opp shops to collect books.
You can stick the tropics up North, great to visit and great to leave too. Someone died on the local rds in Bacchus last night. It's much nicer in the marsh now that the dams out that way are full and the market gardens and orchards are back in production again.
I've lived in 40 locations up and down the East Coast between the Sunshine Coast and here on the Bass Coast and I'm in heaven here. It's quiet, but naturally beautiful with rolling green hills, rugged coastlines and a great lay back country atmosphere but still only 1hr from Melb's outskirts.
