And the upside of that sort of system, is that no Taxes are paid, and eventually there would be no Government, and eventually Life, and the Planet, could return to normal.

Money seems to be an Entity, and causes people to fall in love with it, and generates Greed.

Pertinent to what you said....about people changing... Yes I do agree and think that is one of the reasons for disgruntlement in relationships.

I notice so many young, especially the females, that once they are married, and usually after having children, they just seem to let themselves go to pieces, getting fat, slobby, out of shape, drab and uninteresting.... and then expect their menfolk to have to put up with their Whale-like appearance!.... because if the husband doesnt like it, well... he can just forfeit his children, his home, and spend the rest of his life paying alimony and child maintenance...

I agree here.... Movie Stars, and other high profile Beauty figures, NEVER appear without their make-up.

That Red-Hot-Mama of Country and Western Singing, Dolly Parton said when she wants to go out and not be noticed... she simply leaves off her make-up and outrageous wig!... and trundles thru town and supermarkets without a second glance.

Anneline Kriel Kurzner, ex Miss South Africa and Miss Universe... Well! A local magazine published a photo of her without her make-up, and she was SO plain!

Expert make-up does absolutely incredible things... I once had a Professional Make-up Artist work miracles on me!!!.... the end result was that I looked NOTHING like the real me.... I actually looked like that actress Pamela in the Soap Series of Dallas!!!!!

So.... if you realy believe that actresses and other famous people look like their photos.... you living in La-La-Land!

Never fear about meeting a woman, and worrying about impressing her! You can only be yourself, and if yourself is not good enough, then nothing will be good enough.... and then you got no more problems anyway! People meeting for the first time.... Im sure they've both gone to a lot of trouble for each other....? The food, the wine....those are the incidentals, something to do, the eating and drinking... while you check each other out. Flowers are good too.... one flower sounds romantic. A whole bunch would be a bit overboard?.... the poor things are going to wilt while you eating and drinking and talking? And maybe she is allergic to something in the bouquet and the meeting is ruined because she is sneezing, drooling, blowing her nose, running out of tissues, scratching her rash, etc... get the picture?

At the same time, I would say that some people are just plain old-fashioned Loyal? ... and unless they get shoved out, they will not take off on their own.

People build their lives with another person, their lives are inter-woven, financially, emotionally, and maybe they have small children too.... so they just hang in and hope somehow that things will come right. Of course nothing comes right....and eventually they become immune to each other and continue in their bitter relationship, ignoring their hurts and building a veneer over their feelings. This is the part where fear for the future comes into the picture.... to be alone "out there".

There is a Thread somewhere here where someone asks if being on an Internet Date Site is because we have become too "picky" about choosing a partner? I would say that in a settled relationship, the "pickyness" comes in more....at the time when one person decides their mate is no longer "good enough" for them...and they want more than what they have.

In my little Swiss village, I am astounded at the beauty of the local young girls.... Realy Astounded. I often think that the boys here just must not know how absolutely lucky they are!!!!!!!
Most of them have the most incredible skins, beautiful faces, eyes,figures.... Realy, the young people of Today are absolute marvels.

Take a good hard look at Marilyn, there is nothing wrong with her, but take off her make-up, and she is just an ordinary little girl.....with natural dark brown hair!..... Also, remember, she was a very fragile personality, with no self-confidence, and ended up dead in her early thirties..... either by suicide or cleverly contrived political murder..... Not a happy person by any standards.

Well, between doing your job of work all day, commuting home, doing your whatever you do before going to bed to get ready for the next day..... Guess you could go hang out in a bar somewhere, and hope some sort of lone female/male will drift by with whom you can strike up a conversation, and then maybe get going with a relationship?

Going to bars and such places after dark/work/whatever is also more dangerous these days.... soooo.... So much easier to sit with a pc and comunicate thru cybaspace? Its called Advancement of Technology. I love it. Imagine having to drink beer/wine everytime one feels like going on the prowl?

Sometimes.... No, actually most times... those with whom we have the hugest arguments....turn out to be the best of friends! Maybe its to do with getting down to grass-roots, and being honest.... And then they begin to understand each other.. and eventually.. LO! they are now friends!

.. And in August, in Austria, they can join arms, and dance down the street!!!!!
