RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Onve it crossed the perimeter of the base it crossed US borders.

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Stolen property is stolen property. Does not matter how you got it or what form it is in all that matters is you have it in your possession. Other wise The Record industry could not prosecute people for stealing music by downloading it to their computers.

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

thumbs up cheers

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Yep and Manning was a US soldier in charge of that government owned computer.

Manning said that it was very easy, until no one had noticed. He explained that he had copied classified documents from a computer at a U.S. base in Iraq where he served

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Any Military post, installation, Embassy, consulate is US soil.

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Manning stole the documents from a government computer owned by the US. It was not stolen from cs or any other public site.

That is property of the US government wouldn't you say?

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Quite right you are. But until then we have what we have. cheers

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

I do believe I did answer you but I'll recap.

I really don't have a preference in either direction on Bush. But to play devils advocate again. He had the blessing of the US Department of Justice to go ahead and do what he did. Lot's of culpability to be spread around. Now if you go just after Bush that's being political. You have to gather up every person in the chain From Bush to the person that actually did the deed.

For Assange this one law is enough to go after him he has no diplomatic immunity or protection. He accepted stolen US government documents from Manning. Manning is being charged there need's not be a connection between either one due to this law connects them. Manning does not need to rat out Assange to bring charges.

Receiving stolen government documents is not a crime?

RE: USA Future President.....Donald Trump????

No problem and didn't take it that way. Nothing says he has to be born here as is sated in the requirements. But that to be eligible to be president he has to have been born of parents that are both US citizens. Obama's Parents are One US Citizen and one British Subject Kenyan Citizen. So if they followed the law of the Constitution then Obama is not eligible to be president. Would you agree? Just a question not trying to inflame or start a riot. dunno

Yes and pubes don't count.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

devil Advocate again.

If Obama signed a pre-emptive pardon for Bush as I suspect he may have done then the US cannot go after him. Due to the fact he as been released from that burden by the pardon.

scold You do not support torture no mater who or what they have done. V. Otherwise it would look like hypocrisy.grin

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Yes it's fun to post links supporting what ever side I pick to play devils advocate. Some times I get a bit frustrated but no harm was intended. handshake cheers

RE: USA Future President.....Donald Trump????

She's a closet Conservative. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: USA Future President.....Donald Trump????

Not so.

He was a US citizen.
Schwarzenegger is a dual Austria/United States citizen. He holds Austrian citizenship by birth and has held U.S. citizenship since becoming naturalized in 1983.

Spouse(s) Maria Shriver (1986–present)

Looks like the Kennedy's had nothing to do with it in truth.

RE: if the whole world voted how many would disagree on any such topic

6+ billion people and there will be about 5 billion different answers.

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

Never said I didn't want bush to face a trial. I only pointed out the laws that let him off the hook. you and Emma didn't want to read or believe those. Personally I don;t care but if your gonna be bringing in the laws from one side then I have the obligation to bring in the laws supporting the other side. You can't have a one sided debate.

RE: Bush cancels travel plans.

We'll see if the supreme court can get it killed and if not the next congress. He did take an oath to uphold the Constitution and defend it not cast it aside like he and the dem controlled congress did with this bill. But again the next president can and probably will give him a full pre-emtive pardon for all crimes committed known or unknown at that time.

RE: USA Future President.....Donald Trump????

Yep here you go. The full list of requirements to be President.

* Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) may be president of the United States, though from time to time that requirement is called into question, most recently after Arnold Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, was elected governor of California, in 2003. The Constitution originally provided a small loophole to this provision: One needn't have been born in the United States but had to be a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted. But, since that occurred in 1789, that ship has sailed.

* One must also be at least 35 years of age to be president. John F. Kennedy was the youngest person to be elected president; he was 43 years old when he was inaugurated in 1961. There is no maximum age limit set forth in the Constitution. Ronald Reagan was the oldest president; at the end of his term in 1988, he was nearly 77.

* Finally, one must live in the United States for at least 14 years to be president, in addition to being a natural-born citizen. The Constitution is vague on this point. For example, it does not make clear whether those 14 years need to be consecutive or what the precise definition of residency is. So far, however, this requirement has not been challenged.

RE: MIBARAK RESIGNED

Correct. However the US provides more based on $$ spent than any other country.

RE: MIBARAK RESIGNED

It might be extreme to you but it will eventually happen. The ACLU hasn't sued yet but there is no promise the won't just a matter of time.

RE: MIBARAK RESIGNED

Maybe in Ireland but in the good ole USA not.

RE: MIBARAK RESIGNED

Yep. I'm just waiting till all those crosses have to be removed in Arlington. And all other Veteran cemeteries.moping
