Operation Fast and Furious was the name of an illegal gun trafficking sting run by the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) between 2009 and 2010 as part of the Project Gunrunner. The stated purpose of the sting was to permit otherwise-suspected straw purchasers to complete the weapon's purchase and transit to Mexico, in order to build a bigger case against Mexican criminal organizations who were suspected of being the ultimate buyer. The operation started in the fall of 2009 and ended in late 2010 shortly after the death of Brian Terry, a US Border Patrol Agent and has since become the subject of controversy and a U.S. congressional investigation. During the operation, at least 2,000 guns were released and tracked by ATF agents into Mexico, many of which have been linked to at least 150 shootings. Of the 2,000 guns knowingly released by ATF agents, only 600 have been recovered by officials. The remaining 1,400 guns have not been recovered and possibly remain in the hands of drug gangs.

Hence why I didn't try to specify their country of origin. One never knows for sure until they confirm their citizenship. It was a guess only and like I said I wasn't 100% certain.

What they don't realize is that background check becomes a de-facto gun registration. It has all the info on the purchaser and the gun including serial number.

Well there is this little thing called a instant background check. It goes through the criminal investigation unit of each state and they look into your criminal history. If you have none then you are eligible and by right able to purchase the gun and take it home. If you don't pass the check you cant get one. That simple. Now I'm sure that you understand that criminals are gonna use false id's to obtain them so what can you do.

It wasn't designed to show false statistics. It was to show that when in a pinch and the crime is just seconds away that the cops are just minutes away. This woman exercised her god given right to protect herself and her disabled husband.

When you take away the right to protect yourself then you take the right to life and liberty from the person also. Like you said Criminals will get them no matter what and commit the crime.

Not to extinction but to manage the population. To provide a cheap alternative to the expensive beef and other meats.

Look at it this way. I kill a deer. I get 100-150 lbs of meat from it. I get steaks, tenderloin and ground venison to put in the freezer. Now that has cost me about $1 for the bullet. It cost about $45 to get it processed. That's $46 bucks plus the electricity for the freezer of about $50 no matter how much I have in the freezer. So 1 deer cost about $100 and I can eat that through the year. Now go by the same amount of beef or pork or chicken and see how long it last.

Really could care about your gun laws over there I'm not there and well if you feel it works for you then by all means continue. We in the US have a long and proud history of private gun ownership and it will be very very hard to take them away.

As far as accidental shooting well you can say that about knives, forks, electricity, pools, Any other host of things that we are exposed to that can and have and will kill people. Proper education in handling them is the key to safe operation and responsibility.

Who's should be the one to make the call on whether someone should be able to own a gun or not? We already have too many laws making law abiding citizens criminals.

When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. If they want it bad enough there gonna get it.

Just like locks. Locks are not to keep criminals out there to keep an honest man honest.

Same with guns. There not to keep criminals from committing a crime with them there to give the government a message fudge up bad enough and we have the power to start over again.

No one here where I live and hunt does it for sport just to kill. We only take what we can and do eat during the year between seasons. Yes it is a sport. Not because you kill but because you have to learn where and when and times of movement. The whole reason for hunting seasons is to keep the heard in a balance between resources and population. Some hunters even give away their kill to those less fortunate.



Any monkey can throw a foot ball or hit a baseball or kick a soccer ball. Not many have the patience to spend hours and days stalking the prey and finding the best vantage point to effect a clean kill. Not many people in this world now a days can say with certainty that if the chit ever hit the fan they would know how to fend for themselves and survive.

First step is divorce. Then get the grieving over with then figure out what your expectations are of yourself then what your expectations are of a potential partner then go from there.

He's a long way away from that. As far as divorce it's frowned upon in almost all religions. But it's not impossible.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 68-year-old woman shot and injured two of three men who attempted to break in to her south Nashville home early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the woman's home on Glencliff Road.

Metro police said the woman fired shots at the three men, who have been identified as Flaco Camacho, Oliver Rodriguez and Dorian Guzman.

She stuck Camacho and Guzman in a single shot.

The men fled the scene in a waiting vehicle driven by Marlon Rameriz.

The suspects arrived at Vanderbilt University Medical Center a short time later.

Guzman was treated for his injuries and booked into the Metro jail on $80,000 bond.

Camacho will be jailed upon his discharge from the hospital.

Rodriguez, who also uses the name Edwin Diaz Beltran, is jailed in lieu of $95,000 bond.

Rameriz, who also uses the name Jesus Matute-Castro, is jailed in lieu of $85,000 bond.
