and I miss having someone to snuggle up to and put my cold feet on in bed. And someone to split the firewood coz I am pretty dangerous with a block splitter, nearly taken myself out a few times with it.
Well fingers crossed the Blues can rise to the challenge next game. I really don't envy their position, the pressure they must be going through would be immense but at the end of the day, they are supposed to be the best of the best professional rugby players so they need to do what they need to do to win.
I would love to be sitting next to you on the couch to watch a game, I reckon we could have a good slanging match.
I know Gus isn't the coach but I am sure he considers them 'his' team just as you do.
You are right that NSW could have won, but they didn't.
All excuses aside, NSW are lacking in attitude. That is their problem. QLD made errors but they didn't let them stop them. NSW needs to learn to dig deep and fight instead of losing confidence when things don't go their way. They rely too much on opportunity rather than making the play. QLD don't give too much opportunity. They need to bond together as a team because they only play like a bunch of players lumped together. They need to play every minute of the 80. They need to give the occasion and their opponents the respect they deserve. They need to change their game mentality.
You should give this a whirl, Norm. I did it as a daily e-book thing, and it is all about eating organic whole foods and changing your diet to eat that way permanently. It is based on the theory that it takes 21 days to change a habit. I loved it as I don't like to 'diet' and I refuse to eat anything that has words to the effect of diet in it because they taste disgusting and are full of chemicals.
I think a couple of customers were wondering what the hell was wrong with me. I was letting out all sorts of moans and groans, cracking up laughing, and yelling. One customer thought I was having a party. And I kept giving them updates on the score whether they wanted them or not. They just look at me stupid and say, Rugby, what's rubgy?
I was watching a movie with my kids with a few glasses of red which have gone straight to my head. Think I gotta go to bed. Damn with they rhyming thing again. Ok, going before I am totally crapping on.
Yeah, I don't feel old either until I get smacked in the face with reality. I know I felt old when my kids went to highschool and when my eldest got his learners permit. Less than 12 months and he will be an adult!! I swear I can still feel the labour pains.
I am not sure, will have to check on facebook which I despise but I won't be going as it is in Cairns and I have already been to Darwin and going to Thailand at the end of the year so another holiday is out of the question right now.
Just posting in another thread I realised it has been 20 years since I graduated high school. WTF?? Where on earth did those 20 years go? Seems like yesterday. I keep telling my kids they can't pull the wool over my eyes coz it wasn't that long ago that I was at school trying to pull the same crap on my parents, but it that long ago!!!
What else has snuck up on you or you can't believe it is happening??
Hey Phoenix Welcome to the forums. Hope you get a meet together to meet some people, they are always lots of fun whether you manage to hook up with anyone or not.
That is one of the hard things about dating in my age group. So many men my age haven't ever settled down and had kids and would like to. I have been there and done that, and really don't want to do it again, but do I deny someone that right to have children of their own? It was a big factor in deciding who to date.
