RE: North Korea??????

Exactly! War economies can only survive if there are enemies. If there is non, they create one. Watch out, today enemy No 1 is Iran, but they have already started to make China into one. After this is Russia. But Russia have the military might to counter the US.

1.6 Billion Rounds Of Ammo For Homeland Security in the US

Do you know who Finkelstein is? Youtube has great stuff and bad also. Credibility is not established by one's political authority. We know that very well from current history. What has absolutely no credibility is official media that spews out nothing but propaganda, and political leaders.

Who is your credible source? Rabin? Sharon and alike? Or the censored media?

1.6 Billion Rounds Of Ammo For Homeland Security in the US

Maybe because they are pushing the US into these wars... I recall Obama stating when he first won the election that from now on friendship would be based on merit, but he simply carried on with the exact same policies as the earlier government, but in a much greater scale. He is not making the calls.

RE: who would you of rather seen win the labour leadership Kevin Rudd or Gulia Gillard?

I'd rather see either of them than to have the Gestapo coming back to power. But the people might have forgotten already what they did.

RE: Britain prepares for nuclear strike

Typical Western propaganda crap. Iran has no nuclear bomb. Iran has not invaded any country since the 1700s. The US and Britain on the other hand have. North Korea is self defensive. Didn't the US and South Korea just had a military exercise not long ago? If Mexico was to conduct a military exercise near the US border, wouldn't the US take it as a sign of aggression?

How about if the US/Israel and Britain just leave other countries alone and stop destroying their infrastructure and murdering millions of their citizens?

1.6 Billion Rounds Of Ammo For Homeland Security in the US

Well, they bought it for the Americans, 5 bullets each for every resident from baby to grandma and grandpa:

They have a pretty good explanation:

"The response, dated February 4, 2013, says that DHS buys ammunition in bulk to "significantly lower costs.""

Sure! I even believe it. Of course. Instead of a few hundred thousand they bought 1.6 billion because it is CHEAPER in bulk.

Let's add that these bullets can blow body parts off you, they are not child's play. But they bought another 400 million since the news.

Maybe the truth is the US wants to invade Iran and if they do Iran have people inside the US who will start a war inside the US.

WWIII in the making, because it can become a thermonuclear war. Some parts of the world is already nervous about US/Israeli aggression.

RE: North Korea??????

Well, I thing we are being fed Western propaganda and don't know the truth. Didn't the US and South Korea hold military exercises in the area just recently? Why shouldn't the North get upset about it?

From where I am all I can see is that North Korea hasn't invaded any countries since Korea was split after the war, but the US could not stop wiping out one country after another and slaughtering millions of their people.

So if you ask me I'd rather be worried about the US and not North Korea.

The sound engineer - part 1

Yeah, I would need one too :)

The sound engineer - part 2

LOL. Boyle didn't even get the pitch right at times. She became famous because of the very well produced and marketed video. She had a nice voice though...

The sound engineer - part 2

What do you mean? The link didn't work for you?

The sound engineer - part 1

I am not sure what you are trying to do...

The sound engineer - part 1

I agree. Once in my youth I went to a concert where a Polish group played. The sound engineer actually informed us at the beginning that the music originally didn't sound as good as we will hear it. Maybe it wasn't nice from him, but it was interesting to know.

The sound engineer - part 2

There are a number of URL shortening services you can use. The purpose is in the name: "shortening". Some forums don't display long URLs correctly and when you click on the truncated link it takes you to nowhere. Therefore, it is always safer to just shorten long URLs by default.

The sound engineer - part 2

Don't we all love great singing? But without the magical touch of the sound engineer they might not sound quite as good, as the following video shows rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Don't we all like great music? Have you ever wondered what music would sound like without the mastery of sound engineering?

Well, it seems you don't believe me:

It was done in some Indonesian cities for some time and statistics showed that fertility declined.

RE: WHAT'S WITH RELIGON THREADS

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

The problem is not with these threads but with the forum software itself.

On the international forum topics get their own sections and you don't get to see religious threads unless you purposely go there.

There are topics I am disinterested in or dislike and avoid, but rather than fuming I simply don't click on them. If you feel rage about religious threads I suggest the problem lies with you - ie intolerance.

While preaching that religious people should be tolerant the preachers themselves are often utterly intolerant towards religion. Funny it is.

We all have the right to discuss whatever our interest is, as long as we don't cause harm to others in word or action.

And we all need to be able to live with other peoples' choices. If we dislike them we just don't take part in them.

I think he makes a good argument, but I doubt we will ever know the truth.

RE: What do you think of the theory of evolution by natural selection, do you think it's correct?

Did I say the original NT text was written in Hebrew? The guy does, but I don't think there is enough evidence. I rather think they were written to the leaders of the early churches that were initially Jews for obvious reason, who might have spoken a mixed kind of language like we do :)

Migrants in Australia often use their own idioms and translate it into English.

But whatever language it was written in, we don't have ANY of the original stuff, only copies of copies of copies, only fragments before the fourth century, with the first more complete manuscripts and translations appearing later.

But I think this is becoming way off-topic...

RE: White House -- 'We control news media'

Is there anything new under the sun? What is shocking about this?

All governments are foreclosed

Now I suspect none of this carries any meaning. I heard of someone else that made a filing under UCC, so it seems it doesn't carry as much weight as it is claimed.

And what gave them away is

1. An article that claims companies in QLD were foreclosed, but the link pointed to no documents under sec.gov, and when I pointed it out to them I received no reply;
2. Another article claiming that every citizens (I suppose they talked about US) would receive $6 billion worth gold.

Thes folks must be the same people that claimed the end of the world by the Maya calendar and by the Elenin comet.

RE: What do you think of the theory of evolution by natural selection, do you think it's correct?

It is not intended as a science book, therefore it gives you an account of how the ancient man would have understood.

The bible says what we read into it. It is often difficult to interpret, particularly that we read translations not the original language. The first verse is simply a summary of the whole story. It is about fashioning a home for mankind. Here are two videos I like:

Proofreading is a dying art

I am not sure what the unspoken rule is. In chats I often mistype words, not intentionally, even in forums and by the time I notice I cannot re-edit my posts. At least facebook lets you do that.

RE: What do you think of the theory of evolution by natural selection, do you think it's correct?

Have you actually checked it?

vs 9-10: waters and dry land
vs 11-13 vegetation

Light is there right from the beginning.

Here is my model.

Until vegetation appears there is a lot of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere - greenhouse effect -> thick clouds, so you cannot see the sun, moon and stars.

Once CO2 is consumed and absorbed by the waters the sky clears. The ancient man is not a rocket scientist to understand that these only became visible, the story is simply recorded in their language in their terms and understandings.

You don't have the animal world before these.
