RE: Gosh, I reckon I need help... I am totally engrossed in online shopping.

The company deals only in Peugeot parts.
It is:
If you do a bit of digging via a search engine it is not difficult to find companies that will sell you parts for just about anything and ship them to Australia.
My mechanic recently bought a new engine for a customer's Hyundai direct from Korea for half the price that was demanded for the same engine in Australia. That price included shipping and freight.
A friend of mine buys parts for his BMW from the USA for about a fraction of what BMW Australia demands. For example he had to replace a fuel pump. The Australian price was about $700. He got the pump from the USA for $98, inclusive of freight and insurance.
Even Holden owners would be wise to shop offshore, especially if they want some of the more interesting bolt-on performance items such as supercharger kits for GM engines. It is amazing what you can find on-line in the USA that is not offered here in Australia.
Another example of things that available elsewhere would interest Toyota Prius owners. For $15,000 Toyota Prius owners can get an after-market kit that turns their car into a plug-in hybrid and (more importantly) replaces the crap Toyota battery with better technology (bolts into the same hole) that gives the car a 200km range on battery. It turns the Prius from a 50mpg car into a 150mpg car. If Toyota would just overcome its fixation on the petrol engine and give the Prius a diesel it would be a 300mpg car.

RE: my diabetes

Good to hear.
Sometimes the antidepressant can cause a problem. Avanza, for example (I take it), is notorious for stimulating the appetite and causing people to put on a lot of weight. Strict diet and exercise has prevented this for me, but a friend of mine has gained 25kg since he began to use Avanza.
High GI food can be in places where you do not expect to find them. Rice crackers, for example, will send your blood sugar level off the top of the graph.
For sweetener, may I suggest a plant extract called stevia.
You will find some interesting reading at and
Both artificial sweeteners are lethal, but the use of improper influence and old-fashioned corruption has resulted in both products being certified as safe for human consumption.
Aspartame was an ant poison, that was designed to burn out the nervous system of the ants. Imagine what it does to you in the long term.
Not many people here realise it, but in Japan both aspartame and splenda are banned. Diet drinks there are sweetened with stevia. Stevia is native central America, where the Indians have been using it for thousands of years without a problem.

RE: Fed Up!!!

You are probably a nice guy, which is your downfall.
Women are hard wired to be attracted to a**hole, especially up to their mid 20s.
This blog has some useful advice on how to change your approach.

When it comes to dealing with women, nice guys really do finish last.

RE: why ordinary Americans love obama?

So easy to spot a Marxist ideologue. You are about 30 years too late to find support for that ideology in Serbia.
The working class are not exploited if they form unions, which I support.
As for exploitation, take a look into history for what happened to the working class in every one of the failed socialist experiments around the world. Marxism exists on the back of an oppressed and exploited working class, who are kept in line by state terror.
Marxism is the only form of government in the entire record of human history that had to build fences to stop its population escaping the 'workers' paradise'.

RE: why ordinary Americans love obama?

Socialism under Tito worked so well it collapsed. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: why ordinary Americans love obama?

Romney dared to speak the truth, which is something with which the victim-mentality parasitic social liberals cannot deal.
In all Western societies there are people who have been educated to think that they are entitled, which means that they want you to work, the government to take your money off you in tax and then hand it to them in welfare.
Socialists of all varieties have created this sense of entitlement among the lower orders of society because they can use tax money to buy their votes and thereby get themselves elected.
Such a society cannot survive, which is one of the reasons that the entire Western world is in the process of collapsing.
Socialism, in all its forms, cannot work.
Also, most of the population are ignorant morons. Democracy is not the solution, it is part of the problem.
Sir Winston Churchill summed it up when he said: "The best argument against democracy if a five-minute conversation with the average voter."

Educated enough to know the difference between to, too and two.

RE: Gosh, I reckon I need help... I am totally engrossed in online shopping.

There is nothing wrong with on-line shopping, provided that you do not spend more money than you have.
For non-perishable items is makes sense to shop on line. These days I will only go to a physical shop if there is no way to avoid it.
I even do my non-perishable grocery shopping on line. There is a significant discount and it is delivered to my door.
Retailers put extortionate margins on their goods. I object to being robbed to line their pockets, or cover the overheads such as extortionate rents charged by the likes of Frank Lowey.
I am mindful of a former employer, who sold an item to a pharmacy wholesaler for $12. The wholesaler sold it to pharmacies for $14. The pharmacies sold it to the public for $38. I refuse to bend over and be screwed by that sort of retail margin.
A great example is parts for my Peugeot. I buy parts from Britain for about 20% of what the den of liars and thieves at Peugeot Australia want for the same part. That 20% includes air freight (delivered to my door), insurance and the 20% British VAT.
I am giving serious consideration to buying my next car in Britain and having it shipped over. Ordering one built to comply with Australian design rules is not a problem. Even with Britain's 20% VAT cars are half the price that the importers demand in Australia for the same cars. I could pay freight and import duty and still be tens of thousands of dollars in front.

When did it become a crime to be a patriot?

I think that you meant to say $100,000.

Helps to explain why the Taliban and al Qaeda operate freely in Pakistan.

When did it become a crime to be a patriot?

Here is a video that shows some of the 'benefits' and 'enrichment' of multiculturalism.
You will need a strong stomach.

RE: One Idea How To Fix The Worlds Problems.

The sort of solution that Martia proposes was already in place, up until the men behind the curtain decided to flood the Western world with anything and everything that they could find in the Third World.
Race mixing is the cause of conflict, not the solution.
We could end ethnic and religious problems in Australia tomorrow by returning to the white Australia policy and beginning the orderly repatriation of all people of non-European origin.

RE: One Idea How To Fix The Worlds Problems.

Gentle Hindus?
Really?
You need to read some history.

RE: Fittness

I am too bloody old to be flexible. sigh
No more head-high kicks for me these days. Nothing higher than the waist, but then all that one really needs is to kick high enough to take out a knee and the fight is over.
I have ended a couple of promising football careers of street thugs that way.

RE: Fittness

Curly, rather than buy a walking machine why not just go for a walk in the great outdoors?
It is cheaper, you get to enjoy the change of scenery and if you have a dog he/she will love you for it.
You may also find Tai Chi of benefit for flexibility.
I train at a karate dojo five times per week, which has me in remarkable condition for a man of my age.
If you are not inclined to a martial art (you are never too old to start), Tai Chi is a gentle way to do some stretching.
You may find that your local council has free Tai Chi classes as part of an activities in the parks programme.

RE: What Accents Turn You On?

When spoken by a woman:

Afrikaans (even when they are being loving it sounds as though they are threatening your life rolling on the floor laughing )

When did it become a crime to be a patriot?

Two of the fundamental problems with multiculturalism is that proponents of it ignore two basic facts.
1. There has never been a successful society of that sort . . . ever . . . anywhere. It has always ended in conflict between the different groups.
2. The assumption is made that people who have behaved in certain ways for thousands of years can be picked up from one part of the world and placed into another society where they will behave differently. That is simply not going to happen. It is a nature of the beast argument. Look at the Muslim world: squalor, corruption, violence and terrorism. Only a lunatic would think that these people could be shipped to Australian and behave in a way that was different. Introducing Muslims to a Western society is like releasing venomous snakes into your house and hoping that they will not bite you. It is the nature of the beast to do what they do.

RE: Solo Holidays

Sorry, no idea.
I have not been on a holiday since August 1978.

Police arrest CBD protest organisers

By Mark Morri and Janet Fife-Yeomans
The Daily Telegraph September 22, 2012 12:00AM

TWO men alleged to have used texts and social media to organise a pro-Australia rally in the wake of last week's violent Muslim protest were yesterday arrested for inciting and promoting violence.
It is alleged that the pair were attempting to organise the rally in the CBD this weekend.
As American and French diplomats in Sydney put their citizens on high alert amid fears of more Islamic unrest, police arrested a 20-year-old at an Ingleburn business and a 21-year-old man on George St, Sydney.
While playing down threats of a repeat of last Saturday's violence, Assistant Police Commissioner Alan Clarke said 300 extra officers would be in the CBD this weekend.
The US Embassy has advised its nationals to avoid Hyde Park and Martin Place, while the French embassy said it was taking a "zero-risk" approach after a French magazine published cartoons of a naked Prophet Muhammad.
The 20-year-old man arrested at Ingleburn is from Glenmore Park. He was charged with recruiting persons to engage in criminal activity and printing/publish to incite/urge/aid commission of crime.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear in Penrith Local Court on Monday October 15.
The 21-year-old arrested in George Street was last night still at The Rocks police station assisting police with their inquiries.
A 19-year-old Belfield man has become the ninth adult to be charged over the violence after he was charged with affray and throwing a bottle at police during the riots.

GM corn cancer link

I would put my money on the corn, not the herbicide.
Roundup has been around for at least half a century and there has been scant evidence of it causing a problem, unless it has been as a component of Agent Orange (though the problem there was the dioxin caused by sloppy manufacturing).
My neighbours and I have been using Roundup for decades without a hint of a problem.
Though, there it a pleasant green glow to the soil at dusk and some cute two-headed frogs. rolling on the floor laughing

France to probe cancer link to genetically modified corn
AFP September 20, 2012 2:59AM

FRANCE'S government has asked a health watchdog to carry out a probe, possibly leading to EU suspension of a genetically-modified corn, after a study in rats linked the grain to cancer.
Agriculture Minister Stephane Le Foll, Ecology Minister Delphine Batho and Health and Social Affairs Minister Marisol Touraine said they had asked the National Agency for Health Safety (ANSES) to investigate the finding.
"Depending on ANSES' opinion, the government will urge the European authorities to take all necessary measures to protect human and animal health," they said in a joint statement.
"(The measures) could go as far as invoking emergency suspension of imports of NK603 corn to Europe pending a re-examination of this product on the basis of enhanced assessment methods."
Earlier, French scientists led by Gilles-Eric Seralini at the University of Caen in Normandy unveiled a study that said rats fed with NK603 corn or exposed to the weedkiller used with it developed tumours.
NK603 is a corn, also called maize, made by US agribusiness giant Monsanto.
It has been engineered to make it resistant to Monsanto's herbicide Roundup.
This enables farmers to douse fields with the weedkiller in a single go, thus offering substantial savings.
Genetically modified (GM) crops are widely grown in North America, Brazil and China but are a hot-button issue in Europe.
The study, published in the peer-reviewed journal Food and Chemical Toxicology, says it is the first to look at rats over their normal lifespan of two years.

RE: EARRINGS IN MEN

No! A thousand times no!
I am not in favour of ear piercings for women, either. Why? Ask any acupuncturist. They will tell you that ear piercings are a great way to cause serious damage to your health, because there are acupuncture points throughout the ear that are connected to just about everything in the body. It could be compared with driving a nail through your computer's motherboard and then wondering why it farked the computer.

RE: Is Christianity based on Myth? Or did Jesus ever exist?

About 25 years ago an excellent documentary called Jesus: the evidence was made. You can watch it on YouTube.
The evidence presented forces one to the conclusion that the Jesus of Christianity is a lie and that Christianity is a fantasy.

RE: Women with tatoos

Moral and social degeneracy is always wrong, even if aspects of it have become fashionable among the feeble minded.

RE: Women with tatoos

After 37 years as a journalist, 10 of which were spent sitting in courts and being the shadow of the police, I think that I do know what I am talking about.
Anyone who does not understand that tattoos are a badge of the criminal underclass is either in denial of a self-evident reality, or has been living under a rock.
Take this example.
Two people have applied for a job. One has tattoos and possibly facial piercings. The other person does not have tattoos and does not have piercings.
Who do you think will get the job, especially if it involves interacting with the public as the face of the company?
It is a no brainer.
Pull your head out from the sand and see some reality.

RE: Women with tatoos

Thankyou for providing evidence to support my position.
Quack.

RE: hard heart

Move on. This woman is obviously damaged and has issues. Life is difficult enough without taking on board someone who has those sort of problems.

RE: jesus

Necomancy! devil

RE: Russian men

Really!
That surprises me. The Russians are banned, but the African scammers seem to operate without restriction. Interesting.
