RE: WHY WOMAN SO BAD WITH CREDIT CARDS?

Depends on the woman.
I divorced my first wife because her insanity with credit cards pushed me to the brink of bankruptcy.
My second wife was a fantastic financial manager.

RE: Should women ask for a guy out??

I wish that women would take the initiative and approach a man whom they fancied. Life woud be simpler. I have always had extreme difficulty perceiving the subtle signals that a woman sends when she is interested. I need a woman to be straight up, as subtle as a brick through the window.

RE: If you bought a haunted house and could pick which type of ghost to have which one would it be?

I once rented a house that was haunted by an old man who died there. He was a nasty unhappy old man who became a particularly unpleasant ghost.
Things became so bad that I had to perform an exorcism. I did not want to, because I would rather have helped him to cross over peacefully, but he refused to be helped.

RE: I know somebody close to me who was....

You should have added a button for 'all of the above'.
I know people to whom these things have happened. Hell, every single one of them has happened to me at various times.
I suspect that such thing are so common that they would have to be classed as part of normal life experience.

RE: What really girls/women see in guys/men to start a real serious relationship ?

"The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is: “What does a woman want?” - SIGMUND FREUD, Ernest Jones' Sigmund Freud: Life and Work

RE: Frustration!!!

You need to understand that as animals we are hard wired to act in self interest. Nobody is going to do anything unless it in some way fulfils a need, even if that need is to feel warm and fuzzy about doing something for another person.
There is nothing wrong about this. It is the order of nature, the natural law.
The world does not owe you (or me) anything.

RE: Are you happy with the people you have found on cs!!!

It is about the same as dealing with the zoo outside my front door every day. roll eyes

RE: Occult Books

Nearly all books on the occult are sprinkled liberally with BS, or are straight out works of fiction.
There are a few reasons for this.
One is that the founder of modern Wicca, Gerald Gardner, did not complete his education in witchcraft. He was expelled because he could not keep his mouth shut. To fill in the blanks when he wrote his books Gardner made stuff up. Sad, but true.
Some people who have written books do know that they are talking about, but the information is always incomplete, or there is just enough error to prevent someone who is not an initiated and educated occultist doing anything that would work.
The reason is that occult forces are real . . . very real . . . and if the muggles (love that word invented for the Harry Potter books) got hold of the knowledge there could be havoc. It would be like giving an infant a loaded pistol with which to play.
An experienced occultist can recognise the error instantly and either correct it or fill in the blanks because metaphysics, just like Newtonian physics, has laws.
The book that is generally considered to be the best basic work on the occult is called Mastering Witchcraft. It is available on Amazon. See below.

RE: If your family is cursed what do you do?

No, not fiction. It was a world-wide survey that the Farrah's did of current practices and ideas in the occult. It was an interesting book, but one must bear in mind that the Farrahs were/are also sweetness and light fluffy bunny Wiccans. Real magick is much darker.

RE: If your family is cursed what do you do?

An interesting hobby.
If your library has a book called 'The life and times of a modern witch' by Janet and Stewart Farrah, and it is the edition that had a cover shore of a pretty naked redhead beside a fire . . . I took that pix about 23 years ago.

RE: How Do You Feel About Gray Hair?

Given that I am 54 years old, I have had to get with the programme and embrace gray hair. blues
At least it blends in fairly well with the natural blond.

RE: If your family is cursed what do you do?

I assume that was meant as sarcasm.
Magic is stage illusion.
Crowley added a k to distingish the use of metaphysical forces.
I am impressed that you knew the difference. Perhaps you are not a muggle?

RE: If your family is cursed what do you do?

Psychic Self Defence. sigh
Damned prescription drugs are still playing hell with my cognitive processes.

RE: If your family is cursed what do you do?

You might also want to read a book called Psychi Self Defence, by Dion Fortune.
Dion is one of the sweetness and light fluffy bunnies, but there is information in the book that would be understood by non-occultists. It would give you enough knowledge to protect yourself against a low-level attack by someone of low degree . . . which is better than no defence at all.

RE: If your family is cursed what do you do?

The threefold law is a fantasy created by the Wiccans, who are not traditional witches. There is no such thing in real magick.
Launching a curse is like launching a torpedo. Once it is running, best to get out of its way. Whether or not the target is deserving of the curse (largely a matter of subjective opinion) is irrelevant.
I could give a long explanation of the metaphysics involved, but I will not bore you.

RE: If your family is cursed what do you do?

Not terribly worried about an African who is using Vodoo, which is a nonsensical mish mash of African tribal magick and Christian bits and pieces.
Occult, Conrad, means secret or hidden knowledge. I use the old gods of my white ancestors and cerimonial magick. I also have knowledge of the work of Alestair Crowley, so . . . no . . . not terribly worried about Afro-Caribbean savages. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: How many responses did you receive since you joined?

I was speaking of the fake profiles on this site. I maintain that every single fake I have been contacted by on this site and others has originated in Ghana or Nigeria.
As for the man who you said was as British as you were . . . did you meet him? Did you speak with him? Did you actually see him, or was it just a photograph who could have been anyone?
If not African, could have he been what I believe are referred to politely as 'travelling folk'?
I spent a lot of time interacting with the police and courts as a police and crime reporter during my early years as a journalist. I can assure you that racial profiling is based in fact and that certain crimes have certain racial groups written all over them.
Surely you have heard of what is known as the Nigerian scam?

RE: Are men really as simple as they are made out to be?

Late in his life, Freud admitted that he had given up trying to understand women.

RE: How many responses did you receive since you joined?

Of course scammers can come from anywhere, but the reality is that almost all of them are African.
Even the ones in Britain are usually Africans who are living in Britain.
Time to wake up and smell reality, which does not conform to the politically correct fantasy invented by the social liberal multiculturalists.

RE: Are men really as simple as they are made out to be?

Generally, yes.

RE: I kill Boredom by .......

No time to be bored. Not enough time to get proper sleep.

RE: How many time in a week you like to eat meat?

The doctor should also have told you to consume at least 8,000mg of fish oil per day. What you describe sounds like inflammation caused by an omega-3 deficiency.

RE: How many responses did you receive since you joined?

I can nominate one site that has many more scammers. I used Adult Friend Finder for a year. It cost me $130 for the year, which is fairly cheap in my view. Throughout that year I received not fewer than 200 contacts each week from black men in Ghana who pretended to be white women in various parts of the world. Their infantile attempts to scam would be funny, where it not for their criminal intent.

RE: DAYTONA 500- A DISGRACE TO AUTO RACING HISTORY

I have never understood the appeal to Americans of any form of motorsport that involved cars racing in circles around a small track. dunno
I like touring car racing (not sure it is conducted anywhere else in the world other than Australia) on street circuits; and the Indy event we used to have here on a street circuit.
Not sure about Formula 1. Bans on various technologies have put F1 in a state of arrested development that I believe will kill it in time.
The same thing has happened to touring car racing here. The V8s were being flogged by turbocharged fours and and sixes, so they changed the rules so that only naturally aspirated V8 cars of two designs could race. The series has been dying a slow death since that time. I no longer even bother to watch. Now it is Tweedle Dumb racing against Tweedle Dumber. Boring. Boring. Boring.

RE: Inpromptu Brisbane meet , dinner and drinks , in about a month.

I do not have a problem with the inner city.
As for violence in the inner city . . . not worried. Easy to take down a drunken punk or three it the need arises.

RE: life and death--for the atheist

You need to understand the process of evolution (which you clearly do not) before you can critique it in a credible way.

RE: Inpromptu Brisbane meet , dinner and drinks , in about a month.

What about the violence that will break out when some of us finally get to meet each other? rolling on the floor laughing
Seriously, though, I am up for it. Saturday nights are good. Just about any location is good.

RE: Whats Your Favorte Quote?

"The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter." - Sir Winston Spencer Churchill

RE: FAULT FINDERS

We are all imperfect beings and what may appeal to one may repel another.
If someone does not like you the way that you are, do not pretend to be someone or something that you are not. Keep looking for someone who wants what you have to offer.
