Well, we can not expect people to know everything, especially when it comes to specific medical, technical and so on stuff. I think this guy was just rude and unthoughtful. And such behaviour deserves to be ignored...
Ah, when one feels forced to do things he doesn't want or doesn't like, it is very rear to be happy after deciding to accept those changes. Speaking from my own experience I almost never agreed to do or accept anything that felt not right for me and when I did I turned into a person I couldn't recognise anymore and definitely did not like. We do choose who to love, as "loving" somebody is not only the feeling we have for him/her, when two people share their lives there is much more to it then endorphins. As for biological clocks and blah blah...I had my one and only child at the age of 38 and it felt soooo right I couldn't believe it myself. But then again everyone decides for themselves, you can't fool your guts for sure...
I don't mind people using antidepressants to have a better life, but certainly not to work with powerful tools such as lasers where people's safety is at steak. I believe you understand my point of view
Yes, I can, they have side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, blurred vision, one can feel shaky, agitated, anxious... I think that's more than enough...
And to answer properly why I will not want anyone taking legal or illegal drugs that will lead to lack of clear vision, slow reflexes and blurred thinking work for me...oh, I guess I just did answer... I work with medical lasers and will never accept anyone who uses legal or illegal drugs, abuses alcohol or takes anti depressants to touch them. And it doesn't matter if he/she does it in their spare time, once a week or every night...

Well, it is different for everyone, depends what expectations one has. I have a lot of British friends living in Bulgaria, most of them relocated from the Black sea to inland, which is better if you want a quiet life. Do not choose a house in a village in the middle of nothing even if it is the dream house, better be near a small town, trust me. There are a lot of Brits here, unfortunately you get the bad guys too and many like to stay away from their own people. My ex (from Leeds) says he will never go back to UK, cause he feels like stranger there. Just make your research carefully and trust your guts. PS Can you get us a big bag of Yorkshire tea when you come hahaha...
Hahahaha...ah Leo, I believe every human being should be a little bit selfish, as I like to say "a well-intentioned selfishness" is a must for one to survive and be useful. As for the cooking, cleaning and so on, I prefer to do it myself and not to wait on the man for help as it usually ends up to be a double mess and work for me

I think, it is a natural thing to do for your parents, take care of them when they need it. Frankly said, I am rebuilding my life and business close to where they live, so it will be easier for both sides when the time comes...
I do not see anything wrong with keeping your photos, no matter who and how appears on them(if you do not have them framed and all over the house of course). This is your life, throwing the photos away will not change your past. You will end up without a single photograph(paper memory), getting rid of them with every new girlfriend(boyfriend) of yours...
Few of my friends are overweight, they literally hate black and they never do wear black clothes. I would say that wherever I have been, different countries, I've hardly ever seen any overweight people wearing black. I think skinny people tend to wear black more than the rest. JMO and humble observations...
It depends what makes you happy, is it something or someone...?! I found my happiness, he is four and his smile makes every day a happy day no matter what...
Can't say it better than OW... Unfortunately quite a lot of people find it very difficult to deal with the rejection and usually get aggressive and abusive...
